Summer training was conducted.

I came to know about the academic excellence of the college IMSEC through my cousin as he studied here. I found this college excellent in terms of teachers as they are highly qualified and also they are very cooperative in nature. The ambiance of the college is also very good. The infrastructure is very good. Well maintained garden, canteen, hostel, and other facilities are very good. But discipline is also there.

Faculty were excellent not only in terms of their higher qualification but also because of their availability and cooperative nature. I admire their mentorship for guiding me all the time. I am still connected to them.

There are many in-house internships. One international internship is from the University of Louisville. But 50% of the fee has to be paid by the student while 50% college pays. I completed the internship from industry "Parag" and also from our college itself. There can be some more freedom given in terms of internships

I think 80 % and above placement was there with core and noncore companies together. Some students were interested in R&D and some were interested in marketing while some were in software companies also. Many companies visited our campus for Biotech placement like Nestle, Aptara, Hycel, J.Mitra, Healthwatch, Lifecell, IDS infotech, etc.

The fee is fixed according to AKTU (formerly UPTU) not very high. The placements were good. Many companies visited our college for Biotechnology from the starting of the 4th year like Nestle, J.Mitra, Aptara, Everon, Healthwatch, and many more. I got selected in 2 but finally, I chose Aptara due to the good package.

Campus life was memorable. The central library was excellent with AC and silent zones well equipped with advanced computer systems. 24x7 wi-fi facility in the entire campus and hostel. It was better than a home in terms of facilities and security. There were many academic and cultural events throughout the year. I remember the enjoyment and miss those days very much. Classrooms were big and cool with AC and Projector.

The hostel was good with a washing machine facility, nice washrooms, and good food. Especially I liked the evening snacks after returning from classes. We enjoyed the unlimited snacks. Lunch used to very good. Teachers used to take lunch with us which helped in maintaining the good food quality. There was a vegetable, dal, raita, salad, lemon, pickle, chapatis in lunch. Overall I enjoyed the meal. The canteen was also explored during birthday parties

I faced a written test and interview. It was an easy procedure. As I got good marks in 10th and 12th, I was selected easily through the test. If I would have got more than 90% marks in 12th standard, I could get some scholarship.
