Situated within the city, this college has the best to offer its students. The size of the campus is small when compared to other colleges, but there's no compromise in the quality of education. Students can join this college through an EAMCET score or can apply for a B-Category seat. The fee structure varies according to the seat opted. 1/3rd seats are reserved for B-Category. Highly qualified faculty, practical exposure, encouragement to participate in various events in the country, technical and cultural fests are some of the best factors that can be taken into consideration to join this college.

I am from Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I chose this stream because Matrusri has the best faculty for EEE. The faculty to student ratio is 1:20. The average teaching experience of the faculty is around 10-15 years. Prototypes, PowerPoint presentations, working models are used along with a blackboard during teaching, for the students to understand the concepts well. As per the latest guidelines from Osmania University, the college follows the Continuous Internal Evaluation method, where the students are evaluated by regular assignments, internal examinations and projects if any. Good subject knowledge will definitely help students score good marks on the tests.

The internship is mandatory for all the students after the 6th semester. Students can go to various industries for internships or they can even do them online. BHEL, VTPS, Substations, DRDO are some of the places where students can undergo internship programs.

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester i.e. from the 4th year. More number of software companies visit when compared to core companies. Companies like Medha Servo, Cognizant, Aparna Constructions, Value Labs, Veda IIT, Efftronics, Raam Group, Amazon visit the college. The highest package was offered by Hitachi which is 7.5L for CSE students. Around 100 students get placed in these companies.

The fee for a seat joined through EAMCET is 90,000. NRI fee is 1,05,000. Fee reimbursement will be given to all those who are eligible. A good number of software companies visit the college. Companies like Medha Servo, Cognizant, Value Labs, Veda IIT, Hitachi etc, visit the college.

Every year in March, Annual Tech fest and Annual Day will be conducted. Tech fest will be organized on the campus itself and students can participate and win cash prizes. Toppers of the class will be given gold medals on this day. The annual day will be conducted in a function hall with various performances and a DJ. A very good number of books are available in the library and there's even access for IEEE journals and other subscriptions in the digital library. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and there's no problem in seating for students. Badminton, volleyball and basketball courts are present on the campus. There's also a sports room where there are indoor games like table tennis, chess, carroms. Students from Matrusri are encouraged to participate in various sports events outside college and even win prizes in those events. Matrusri Campus Connect is the largest club in the college that organizes various events in the college. Apart from that, there are many clubs.
