I have chosen this college because its location, reputation, extra- circular and its affordable fees attracted me as it is one of the most reputated and 1st ranked girls college of Kolkata. It comes under Calcutta University with naac accredited Grade A. But its faculty is average not that good as per expectation. The admission process of uploading documents on the site was too bad it corrects the documents Manier times and the management will not pick up the calls. But overall this college is good. I selected this college after a review of my senior and seen its ranking in Kolkata at the site www.careers.com.

The structure of BCom Hons is really very good the syllabus 80% matches with the chartered accountancy course. Its faculty is 21+ and students are 1000+in BCom Hons. Faculty have mostly PhD holder teachers but their teaching style is not that good. The exams are conducted at the semester end only and there is the internals of 10 marks and attendance is of 10 marks. So try to be regular.

Students of 3rd semester can apply in placement cell for placements teachers are really very helpful they will instruct the students regarding interviews and all there are 4 -5 companies visited the college every year highest package is 5 lakh and the average package offered is 2-3 lakh.80%of the students are placed. Companies like Deloitte, cognizant Wipro, etc visit the college

The fee structure of the college is really very good it is affordable 25570 per semester of b.com Hons. I don't have any info regarding scholarships but I heard that whose family has less family income they provide some kind of relief to them. The placement cell of the college is good I didn't know properly but the company visits here as it is the reputed college of Kolkata.

They have a fest named srijan which is really very famous as per my point of view as people from different parts of Calcutta come to see that. The library of the college is too big and they have lots of books so the facility of the library is good . Classrooms are well ventilated and have ACs. Mobile phones are not allowed in the college as this college is just like a school the most disciplined college. college provides you lot of exposure in terms of extra circular you will get Ncc,Nss, debate society and cultural society in the college.

No, I didn't face anything like that they just see the merit list for the morning batch the percentage go down to 72 so it's really easy to get admitted and for the evening batch even if you scored less than 50 percent even you get admission so it's really easy to get admission in this college.
