Remarks

Because of the course it was offering, not offered by a lot of other institutes. The admission process began in December and the GD-PI WAT was held around Feb-March. It has a great faculty who is always ready to help and the seniors were a great support too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Research and Business Analytics is an upcoming course with a great future. The student-teacher ratio is good and mentors are assigned as well from teachers and seniors. We also have to do research papers every trimester.

Course Fees: INR 583500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Different companies like Marsh and McLennan, Deloitte, Asian Paints, SBI, Mitkat Advisory, Headsup Corporation, Big Bazar, etc. came to offer placements with decent stipends attached even during Covid.

Placement Experience

Placements are offered by the college, national and international as well. 100% placement even in the Covid scenario and help is provided by the Placement Cell as well as professors as well as personality development initiatives are taken.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 583500 per year and decent scholarships are available based on the merit. Job packages are really good as well with a lot of students being given PPOs. Stipends are decent too. Even though during Covid there was no decrease in fees.

Campus Life

The social life is great. Great seniors. Good clubs that revolve around everything that an MBA institute should have and then some. We are always provided free courses to enhance our knowledge by the clubs as well.

Interview Experience

We have Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Written Assessment Test with the topic being National Development and Youth related. The interview was based on bachelors degree knowledge too. It's a smooth process.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

LBSIM: Life Changing Experience for me.

I was offered admission by Fore, Delhi, NMIMS Bangalore, Hyderabad, GLIM Gurgaon but I talked to people of different colleges on Linkedin. I found that LBSIM people were good at interactions and overall location, curriculum suited me the most. The admission process had a GD followed by PI. I was selected through CAT but selection through XAT is also availble. Cut off ranges from 72 percentile for RBA to 84 percentile for General. I had wailist at Fore, which got clear after the first round but the response of LBSIM's RBA was better than Fore's BDA...Read More
