Entrance Preview

It's first engineering college started in gujarat. Goverment eng college. Fees is very less. Very good college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is really good Eight semester. Each semester have 5 subjects. Each year have two semesters. Fees is very less. Course are relevant to branch. Courses are also very useful for future growth. courses are up to date.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide internship. No stipend. Good companies came in last semesters.

Placement Experience

Placements & job opportunities were not good in 2006. But situation is changed now and placements & job opportunities are really good now. They offered good package.

College Events

Year celebration garba celebration, holi celebration, tech function, fashion show. Technical, cultural, management festivals are not very big.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship / loan facility was offered in college. Don't know about current situation.

Campus Life

Campus life was goof, gender ratio and diversity was good. Extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc. – They are good had sports ground in front of college. Competitions such as robotics, debates was not there.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is average. You can get many option to stay like college hostel, private hostel, PG. No issue with accommodation,food, rental was not very high.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network and senior students were helpfnul. Conducted communication improvement classes to be select in placement. They are really helpful

Exam Structure

Exams and labs are really cool. Taken exam in profession level. Got many thing to understand on labs.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.

I want civil engineering. For civil engineering I know that in Gujarat, there are two best government colleges which is BVM and LD. So I choose BVM.
