Remarks

The good points behind choosing this institute are definitely the presence of a strong alumni base, placement statistics, ROI, Geographical advantage among others. The heritage of the institute is definitely a bonus. The negative aspect is that No campus is available here. But the bus facility is available for the students for seamless transportation. I referred to PagalGuy platform during the admission procedure to keep myself updated about the admission procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course was best suited for me since I did not know which specialization to take up. So, this gave me an opportunity to explore the domains before specializing. The faculty is well qualified and everyone is a postgraduate at least. The teaching method is very interactive. The exams are conducted timely and in a trimester form.

Course Fees: INR 11 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are plenty and varied. Reputed organizations visit LBSIM for internships. The roles vary from marketing, sales, finance to research. The work done creates a good base for the upcoming placement season.

Placement Experience

From the fourth trimester, the students are eligible for placements. The average is around 9 LPA. Good and well-known companies visit the campus for both placements and internships. I have already been placed ad will join the company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike is there every year and rises by a certain percentage. The cost to study for 2 years will come around 11 lacs. The scholarship is available for needy and meritorious students. The internship and placement opportunities are pretty decent.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Tatva and it happens in February-March generally. The opportunities for extra-curricular activities are plenty. There is a club for everyone in this institute. The library is well-equipped with over 35,000+ books and access to numerous databases.

Interview Experience

4.5

Thee topics were generic or current affair based. The process is quite simple and easy. They call for GD Wat and a PI round after that. Location options are available in plenty. I prepared from YouTube videos for Group discussions and personal interviews.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

LBSIM: Life Changing Experience for me.

I was offered admission by Fore, Delhi, NMIMS Bangalore, Hyderabad, GLIM Gurgaon but I talked to people of different colleges on Linkedin. I found that LBSIM people were good at interactions and overall location, curriculum suited me the most. The admission process had a GD followed by PI. I was selected through CAT but selection through XAT is also availble. Cut off ranges from 72 percentile for RBA to 84 percentile for General. I had wailist at Fore, which got clear after the first round but the response of LBSIM's RBA was better than Fore's BDA...Read More
