Remarks

Alliance University has a huge infrastructure with hostel facilities for both girls and boys within the campus itself. The campus is spread over 55 acres offering courses like Post graduation diploma in management, Masters in Business Administration, BBA, BBA-LLB, BTech, Executive MBA for Working Professionals. The college is featured in the top 75 Management institutions in India. The current NIRF ranking for Alliance university is 42 and this is a result of collaborative efforts from all concerned stakeholders. The college also provides a students exchange program in which few students have a chance of visiting abroad college for 6 months. The College also has an imminent teacher from the reputed college like IIM and Expert from a different sector of the industry.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose Post graduation diploma in management at Alliance university because I didn't find much of a difference between MBA and PGDM. The syllabus and subjects offered in this course were more or less the same except the international exposure which was there in MBA and also the fees for PGDM was less than that of an MBA. The college has imminent faculty from IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad, Symbiosis, with at least 14-15 years of industry experience and a teacher and student ratio of 40:1. The college has two exams within a span of 6 months and all the questions asked in the question were the practical implementation of the theory Knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I got an offer for an Internship from FundTaxGuru which was a startup and provides financial services online as a marketing intern where I was responsible for giving digital strategy based on competitive analysis for revenue generation and designing social media campaigns for better customer engagement.

Placement Experience

3.5

The Placement cycle for us started in the mid of the 3rd semester. All the students have to register on the employment application called superset through which all the students receive notifications about company announcements and the hiring process. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Oracle, Lido learning, Accenture, IBM came to the campus offering an average package of 6-7 lakhs yearly. Almost 80-90 % of students got placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees for the PGDM course are 8 lakhs for two years which includes tuition fees library charges and other academic facilities. The college also gives Discounts to a student who has done very well in entrance exams like CAT, XAT, NMAT, and other entrance exams. The scholarship is also given on category based or student who has been a part of national and international level sports presence. I got the job at collegedunia web private limited as a young leader Business Development role through the career advancement and networking cell, placement cell of the college.

Campus Life

5

The College conducts events like retail mela in which lots of programs like cultural and technical programs take place. The central library is divided into circulation, reference books, Periodicals, audiovisual book bank daily newspapers, case study materials. The library has a capacity of 1000 users. The college also has clubs like toastmaster which is a marketing club, prothemus which is a finance club that uses to conduct events on regular basis.

Interview Experience

5

Firstly I have to fill the form for the admission process through the college website itself. Then I got information about the process. On the day of the process, I went through Personal interview rounds in which the interview first asked causal questions like Tell me about yourself? Why did you choose Management? short and long-term career goals. some question were also asked from my training and projects I have done in my graduation. For cracking these PI round anyone have to be confident and clear with some common question about themselves.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time.
