Remarks

The best thing about college is the infrastructure. The college was established in 2013 and has a really good infrastructure. This college is a JNTUA affiliated college and has a good reputation. I got admitted into this college through EAMCET. We took online EAMCET and after clearing it with a good score within the limits mentioned by college, I was able to join here. The rank limits for each caste is mentioned on the official website of the college. This college is a government college that has all the facilities needed by students with an affordable fee, unlike other private colleges. The cost of the course here is affordable for most students. Hence I choose this college over other colleges. College is located in a remote town named kalikiri in Chittoor district.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose Computer science and engineering because the course itself is very interesting and technical. Moreover, CSE students have a lot of placement opportunities and programming encourages students to be more innovative and gives students a problem solving ability. The course curriculum involves programming and important technical subjects that make students job ready. Our branch has around 15 lecturers including teaching staff, lab assistants and all. Faculty members have good qualification like MTech and have teaching experience. The external exams are conducted twice every year and the students have to put a lot of effort to pass the examination.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college itself doesn't provide any kind of internships. Students, themselves have to find a way to get internships from outside college, from well known companies etc. Students have to use social media to its best to find the best internship opportunities available to work. Internships are basically for getting experience to the beginners who are getting into the software field. Coming to the stipend, it depends on the company which is providing the internship opportunity and it's also based on personal performance. Students are more likely to choose machine learning, artificial intelligence, web development, data science and many more popular categories.

Placement Experience

4

Basically, we are not offered any placement training program. Placements mostly come at the end of the third year and beginning of the fourth year. A lot of tech giants like TCS, Wipro, mind tree, Infosys and lot more visit our campus. They conduct interviews consisting of many rounds including technical and non technical things. A written test consisting of topics related to various categories like aptitude, coding is conducted through which eligible candidates are filtered out for further rounds. Then, companies select fresh, young, talented students who have really performed well in the interview and offer them corresponding jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is around 16000 per year. Though there is a fee reimbursement facility for merit students with less income. As my family members are working in the government sector I'm not eligible for it. The fees for students eligible for reimbursement is around 6500 per year. Students are also eligible to get scholarships from the state government, central government and other institutional scholarships for students. But the college doesn't provide students with any job on campus with a stipend.

Campus Life

4

The college celebrates college day fest which is a very lively year by year. Students participate with lot of energy and enthusiasm college has good library for all branches. Most of the books needed by students are available in library. Library also has newspapers for students everyday. Classrooms are clean and well maintained. Sports are conducted for students every year. And students also have a fitness class in their curriculum. College has NSS group where students voluntarily participate in various events. Students are encouraged to participate in social and helping events.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel infrastructure is good. Rooms are cleaned every week. Rooms have all facilities like working fans lights, balcony etc, There is a little water problem but nowadays it is better than before. The meals in mess are average in girls hostel. It is better in boys hostel. They enjoy different varieties of dishes compared to girls .mess fees per day for girls is 82 rupees which is different from boys mess fee. We can find a lot of monkeys roaming here and there near girl hostel, but necessary precautions are also being taken to drive them away from the campus by our wardens. we have a p.e.t teacher in the hostel, she wakes us up early in the morning and makes us do several exercises and allows us to play some outdoor games as well. Totally, what I can say is that we are provided with good hostel facilities.

Interview Experience

4

The exams to be taken to get admission into this college are EAMCET, ECET. These exams are very competitive and to get placed in this university, the students have to get a good rank. These exams are conducted by Andhra Pradesh & Telangana state government. There are rank limits to students as per their caste etc., These details can also be checked on the college official website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
