BITSAI - 336 - the main reason i opted bits is because of the electives. BITS have a wide range of Electives.Any branch guy can do any course he requires. The most awesome thing is there is no attendance.

Excellent. Bits has good research facilities. Every has a Lab associated with it. Even we have a practice schools where students are sent to companies to have real exposure on the current corporate life.I would say that the best college has obviously the best research facilities.

As I mentioned earlier we have practice schools, they are basically the internships. Every company in the India comes and the stipend it depends on the company, the work given to you. On a average a cs student gets min 30 k per month and Electrical guys get 20-30 K and remaining guys get around 20 k.

It's been only 6 years since BPHC(Bits pilani Hyderabad campus) been established and few great companies(EA,GOOGLE)won't come as they have some rules like a college should be minimum 10 years old. Companies like qualcomm, amazon, nvidia are available for us. The C.S students have an average pay of 20 lpa and electrical have around 10 lpa and mechanical and civil have around 8 lpa.

We have three main fests. ATMOS(technical fest), ARENA(Sports fest), PEARL(Cultural fest) and few small fests for social services like NSS, nirmann. The budget for technical fest is around 15-20 lac and for cultural fest it is around 50-60 lac. The participation is huge, huge is also small word. I can't give you numbers as i'm poor with numbers.

If you have rich parents then it is not a problem to you. You can also get loans if you can't afford the fee. Right now the Tuition fee is around 1 lac and with mess, hostel and other small fees it is around 1.35 lac per semester. For the facilities and all i would say it is worth it.

College provides a lot of scholarships few of them are merit scholarship,merit cum need scholarship merit is provided to top 10% of students and merit cum need is provided to top 15% students.

The gender ratio is 80-20% (boys-girls). We will be having workshops conducted by different clubs. We also have technical workshops by seniors, professors. For Sports we have a fest and you need to imagine how much we care about sports. We also have mockmun debate and many more.

Every bitsian will be provided a single room. Each person has his own locker, table, bed and room. Every room has internet cables(ethernet) In BPHC there are two mess and every month you will have registration where you want to have food for next month. The food is bit north Indian and there are also restaurants, bakeries, more super market in campus.

Well the first persons you get to know when you join college are seniors. The interactions are lot helpful. Every bitsian one way or other knows minimum of 50 seniors if he exposes himself outside. There are many social networks which connects us to our seniors.

We have three exams. Test-1, Test-2, Comprehensive examinations. Apart from these we also have weekly surprise tests, weekly lab evaluations and assignments. Most of the guys don't care about the tests. It's chill and most watch tv series, play games, sports.

Most of the professors are from Birla Institute of Technology and sciences Pilani, so they must be well qualified and experienced. As far as the qualification is concerned most of them did their PhD in great colleges. We also have few professors are also invited as guest lecturers for one to two years. And their interest few feel sad for us because most of the guys don't attend classes and few are like friends seriously. I'm not exaggerating here.
