Best college ever

So far the best experience i had in JIMS. JIMS has taught me allot and have been the reason of my confidence. Participating in the activities made me learn allot here.

I gave IP college entrance exam and other than that I gave an exam for the entry to JIMS as well. There is a separate exam for admission in JIMS along with the personal interview and group discussion.

My degree was affiliated by GNDU, Amritsar. Which is by far the best degree with superb course structure. Along with the same I did Graduate Diploma In International Business from JIMS which helped me allot learn the basics of family business, taking business to another level whether international or so.

Yes, it provided internship and the internship amount was max to 10 k for bba student. Which was he best so far as usually colleges don't provide the internship with the stipend and companies like HDFC, ICICI, Indiabulls were the few on the list to shortlist students.

Placements for jims are always famous as they so far provide the best ones. I remember 1 of my classmate was even sent abroad to study by his company and that was also a campus placement. There were many companies on the list as Indiabulls, hdfc, icici, sunlife insurance, surya bulbs, Many mass com students have got the opportunity to work with ekta kapoor in balaji telefilms.

There are annual fests along with annual seminars. 1 of the biggest fest of JIMS is Verve and every year almost 150 colleges participate in the Same. There was Oasis as well where the competition used to happens between the jims colleges only and also many of the celebrities are invited to perform on these fests and these are on certain different level than any other college. An annual seminar named Opine used to occur in auditorium outside and allot famous and big delegates from different organizations used to join sharing their corporate experience and giving us guidance on campus to corporate.

Fee structure is feasible enough. It was 37000 for semester and the best part was this included your degree as well as your diploma related to the course. This was inclusive of industrial visits and all the other activities happening in the college. College wasn't much strict on fees at times with the students having genuine financial problem at home. They used to get certain rebate in the late payment fees and so on.

Yes there is but no info with me because i never took it. The loan facility was provided by the accounts department. It used to be usually from hdfc bank. And the bank provided the best rate of interest.

Everything was just perfect. Gender ratio is almost equal. I could see number of girls and boys as almost equal. The campus life was great as there used to be no age biasness or gender biasness. Everyone was equal used to stay together. Sports activities occur every year in January where we used to have almost all the sports activities like basket ball, volley ball, shot put, long jump, athletics and also marathon. There used to be also badminton, carom, chess and dart in the competition.

Mess food is great and yummy. They have hired certain caterers to serve the food. Like Nescafe was there separately. Chinese corner was made separately and other kitchen canteen was available for us to have proper food was also available. The food used to got through the certain quality checks by the experts as we had hotel management as a course as well in the campus so it was pretty easy to keep a check on the food n it quality. There used to be no compromise on that for the betterment of our health.

Yes they are surely helpful. They will guide u from the very 1st day of ur college that how to do and what to do. Regarding teachers, assignments and activities as well. They help us in boosting our courage and confidence to face the outside world and also help us in getting away with the stage fear.

Exams were not at all hectic rather the best as these exams used to make us prepare for the university exams which used to be very tough to clear. As always had the rule of no resitting for the exams so it was pretty tough for the entire batch to cope up as university exams used to happen at the end of the year and so the mid exams conducted by college made us prepare for the university exams so as to clear all of them in 1 go.

Faculties at the college are great knowledgeable and friendly n try to make every student understand the things with their different tools of teaching like projector study n all. Teachers used to prepare OHP slides for us to understand better or the used to make certain computer slides where the projector used to get connected with the laptop and then the study used to happen. Also there were industrial visit for practical knowledge as well.
