Remarks

Very nice formulated study procedure, free to learn new things, explore new things, events are held to get exposure, scope for overall development is more. Lush green campus covering around 108 acres of land. The student is availed all the facilities including hostel within 50 metres from college admission department within the campus. Good canteens are available in the heart of campus.with good food hygiene. Belongs to culture city of Karnataka and cleanest city of India: Mysore.no doubts in the environment. Complete peace.the college has hired highly educated professors, mostly doctorates. They give their students all the needed platform to get them updated with existing and newer technologies. Must say,CS and EC dept are exclusively maintained their level of dignity in work and placements over the years.(33 Lacs per annum 2019 placements highest for around 10-15 students for EC and CS graduates)

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is very comfortable.and the college is always ready to formulate changes according to upcoming technologies what they require.as not under VTU it provides college to be flexible with the syllabi.as pertaining to my taken course I had got good rank in KCET around 1.2k so got CS branch.i am very much interested in problem solving and math so I chose the best branch of the college for having a good future. CS faculty is very much high to expectations and meets the needs of students.the professors are very helpful and good at problem solving and also to have discussions. Most of all professors are doctorates in their specialisation like let it be maths,CS,Digital electronics, etc. The best part is the student faculty ratio which 1000:250. There are hefty 5 internals which will never get you distracted from studies and keep on learning.which test your skills at a go.there are well equipped labs through which we can gain hands on experience. The college is as strict and as lenient it is.it follows a strictly followed calender year where every internal exam and SEM end exams are held on time.the syllabus is always completed on time no lags.strictly follows around and above 75 percentage attendance rules. Most of the exams are application based where students being made to dig to think on the questions which a very much in need these days.the college has good contact with alumni.good alumni association which are very helpful in mentorship and placements.the only thing the college should be lenient is the five internal program which is little heavy as students feel pressure due to exams.

Placement Experience

4.5

It starts from 6th SEM people start getting paid internships and full time offers through internships too.U can visit the official website www.jssstuniv.in for compete placent details as you will also realise the genuine results.CS and EC branches Has record highest number of placements:95%.My plans is to have a good experience in tech industry to earn and then invest in my own startup by creating and building it. Above 300 companies visit every year.

College Events

5

Good infrastructure, there are around 20 clubs.including every branch.LINUX campus club,Computer society of India,Institution innovation council, trekking club,SAHAS,BUREAU CLUB for IAS preps, literary clubs, drama clubs, art clubs, etc.there is big library located at centre of campus with above 2 lakh books containing all kind of books.College actively participates in all interstate and intercity sports there is we equipped gymnasium which is free of cost for students.there is annual fest called JAYCIANA Which is famous all over the state.people are crazy and eagerly always waiting for it. Techfest s are like student driven can never see a day going without any activity many tests, workshops are held regularly thanks to seniors who are very much cooperative which is the biggest plus point of college, various all India hackathons, held and many more to come.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is manageable for KCET SEATS: 55000 INCLUDING KEA FEES(20K+ 35K FROM COLLEGE) Hostel fees is too very leaniant:55k per year.there is no fees home the college keeps up the needs of students foremost. There is govt of Karnataka scholarship which the college supports through NSP(National scholarship portal) this benefits a lot to students.i am still a sophomore but the placements have gone good and will be at best in upcoming years.

Hostel Facilities

5

Very much comfortable starting the first year at 4 sharing then in coming years 3 sharing and them 2 sharing.hostels are so cooperative and so facilitated.24*7 water supply, hot water too.food is also good much better than other colleges.hostel is given on first come first reserved basis.as they take required number of admissions only. Everyone is given a almirah and table chair to study. Hygienic conditions at washrooms too.daiky washed.South Indian with little blend of North India too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
