Remarks

I take Chemical Technology and in Chemical part our college is famous among many colleges and I see many blogs of this college having good always in Chemical part so that's why I interested too take part in this college only.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Chemical Technology beacause in Chemicals science field is limited innovation and for chemical part our college is famous among many colleges and we need only 40 marks out of 100 to pass out exam of end term. Mid term is quite easy and Faculty and student ratio is average.

From 6th semester our college placement process occurs for final year student and like in IT organization Tata, Polester, DMI Finance, Cognizant, IBM, Emani, Indigo Paints etc In Chemical Technology branches like Paint, Plastic, Food, Bio Chemical etc having good placement among over other branches.

College Events

In college we having four clubs in between students take place participation and many others activities like Robotics, Machine Learning, Data Science and Cloud Computering and Library having many different varieties in same field of books and Sports and Cultural fest conducted by the college in whole year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Overall 1.5lac around with Hostel fees and Mess Charges and students which having their financial condition is not good scholarship provided by college with the help of UP Government scholarship system and many Alumini also gives scholarship to the top students in their batches.

I was a good facility provided by the college and our mess secretary. Hostel Warden take care of all them like theiy own child and about meal It's really like but sometimes breakfast was not good and PG are also available around college it's affordable.

Admission

Yes I faced a first phase of addmission through IIT conducted JEE Mains for taking addmission in B.Tech and GATE required for M.Tech and E cell conducted in my college and Alumini Meet like many events I involved as much as and face mostly group discussion part.

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam,the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
