Remarks
Our college is best in the state coming just behind the NIT Jamshedpur. Moreover the best part of this college is its fee structure which is very less and any student can afford it but the bad part is that it doesn't have a placement statistics like any NIT or IIT. Admission in the UG course of BIT sindri is done by JCECEB which prepares a state merit list of the students from their JEE Main rank and then do a counselling based on the state merit list. Application for admission can be filled on JCECEB site by June or July of every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Electrical Engineering as my stream for further study because I found that this branch is best in BIT sindri with best placement scenario. Also the faculties are quite good and of helping nature. Well staying inside the college the exams are held on time and it is a bit difficult to pass the examination if you dont study at all but if you study them everything goes well.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario of the institute is average. In the mining department, placements are increasing every year. Companies like Adani, Aditya Birla Group, ACC, etc. visit the campus almost every year, and students with the best merit are definitely selected. You will get placed if you are deserving
College Events
The department building of electrical engineering is the best with proper labs, office, cabins and digital facilities. Hostels of the institution comprise of old and new buildings with properly maintained facilities. Hostel are spacious. Water supply and sanitation are the first priority. Mess is good but I won't say the best. One can spend a quality time here other than college. The hostels are also equipped with TV for entertainment, volleyball, and ofcourse a large terrace to enjoy the evening.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As said earlier also the fee structure of the college is the best part with having just 23k fee per year. But along with that our alumni's association are always available to provide scholarship to the financially poor student.
Admission
JEE main is the only test you need to pass for the admission in BIT Sindri. Thus exam has 75 questions with each subject, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, having 25 questions each subject. +4 awarded for each correct answer and -1 for each wrong answer.
