It's been 2 years since i joined, First of all it's State Government Autonomous University in UP east, has legacy of been founded in 1962,quite old and reputed, Rich alumni base, good infrastructure, good hostels (few are quite old through).
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for chemical engineering, because i want it. Faculties are best if you get older branch of University, newer branch lacks faculties. Student teacher ratio is quite good 1:60 during lecture,1:20 during lab. MMMUT faculties are well qualified,most of them have completed their PhD. There will be no issues in faculties teaching methods.(newer branch still face lack of faculty) Exams are quite tough to clear, most people get their backlog in maths 1 and 2 during fresher year. Two exams are conducted per semester major and minor.
Placement Experience
Form 3rd year you can try for placements, Till june 2020, 29 companies have visited with maximum package to 39 lakh and average package to 4.5 lakh per annum. Amazon, microsoft,humming wave, prism cement and others.
College Events
Life at MMMUT is quite good.(but being in Purvanchal sucks, many people have low mentality, male - female dilemma) Otherwise it's all green and lush,spread over 360 acres of land, inside past has forest too with sal tress. Tech fest -- techsrijan and cultural fest -- abhudaya They will be best for your 4 year life at college. University library is big enough to quench student thrist have journals, ebooks and books. Many clubs are in university,SAE,IEEE, IIchE, dance club and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Sponsored scholarship are available in university as well as UP state government scholarship is available.
Campus Life
Has gym(old), wifi in Campus with good bandwidth, 2 libraries and labs and workshops are fully fledged.(but few might be too old ). MMMUT has good infrastructure.football and cricket playground,volleyball, basketball, 24hrs hospital is in campus,with stationary shops, 3 cafe.
Hostel Facilities
New hostels are best and old are just enough has many hostel separate for girls and boys. Boys hostels are farthest in university about 1 km. And girls hostels are nearer to administrative block. Food is good,menu is decided by mess committee,students are main part of it. Hostel charge are included in fees but only mess fee is paid later i.e. 15000 for 6 months.
Admission
MMMUT conducts its own exam MET until now, 90% seats are filled by MET and rest 10% by JEE mains
