Remarks
Overall this college is quite a bit more fruitful than many colleges in Mumbai for an overall development of a students which transformes any student from an ordinary Engineer to an extraordinary one.
Course Curriculum Overview
End semester and internals are taken as usually for academic development. Various workshops, events, conferences etc are developed by our college for the students which will be useful for our future career. Mid-semester internship are also conducted by our college for additional information which will be helpful in interviews and other topics related to it.
Placement Experience
As a second year student, I haven't experienced the process of placement but, I have a brief idea about the process. If we talk about special steps to prepare students for placement, college has holistic subjects which helps in preparing/training of placement which starts from the 1st year itself.
College Events
There are many events which are held in our college. Few of the are soujon, zephyr, multicon-w, etc. Sojourn is a talent event, where students perform various music related things, like dancing, singing, playing musical instruments, etc. About Zephyr, this is a technical fest for all, students, teachers etc. Students across Mumbai also visit our college to enjoy our fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As for my branch (Information Technology) we have a fee structure of 1.41 lakhs per annum. There is deduction in fees if we belong to any reserved category and each category has there own deduction percentage. All the other information about fees is available on the official webpage on Google.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't came across any such scholarship or education loan in our college, but whenever I would get a chance I would opted for the same, as it would be very useful for my family too
Campus Life
As such there is no issue regarding bullies on topics like, race, religion, gender, ethnicity, etc. As for the gender ratio, in our class the ratio is about 75% boys and 25% girls. There are clubs in our college which organises events for there member which involves both, boys and girls and the membership can be taken by any student.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an event in which very successful ex-students come to our college and tell us about various experiences they had to make there lifes prosperous.
Admission
We got admission in Thakur College through CET (Maharashtra) scores. This college was recommended by my senior friends and alumni. As this college creates various opportunities in developing our academic, communication skills, etc I decided to try to take admission in this college.
Faculty
Many of our faculties have done PHD in there respective subjects/branches and some of them are in process of completion of there PHD degree. In our college, per day there are 7-8 lectures which are around an hour long. On weedends (Saturday and Sunday) we have holidays.
