MBA worthy or not worthy

College is very strict regarding its rules and regulations. But still college management is good.

I took MAT( management aptitude test) exam as my entrance test to the MBA world by scoring 93 percentile, i opted out this college for many reasons one of the reason being good placements and awesome campus with good faculty.

Course curriculum is very tough and is directly related with the corporate world. Currently my one of the subject is based on research methodology. Electives are in the selected in the second year of the MBA program. The specializations being offered are Finance, Marketing,HR, LOS.

Yes, of course our college provide internship. There is a separate committee in the college established only for the purpose of helping find students required company to do the internship.

As i stated earlier the placements in the college is way too good. There is always almost 100% placements every year there is again a separate placement committee in the college which takes care of the placements procedure average pay is something around 5 lac PA, which goes up to 15 -20 lac in some scenario.

All day throughout the year there will be one or the other event is being held in the college. There are many technical, management and cultural festivals will be going on. Most of them will be inter college and inter class they are very big and any number of participants can participate in this.

Fee structure is feasible, it is comparatively cheaper than most of the B-schools. Fee for normal MBA is six lac sixty thousand rupees for the two year program when it is splited it amounts to some three lac thirty thousand rupees per year. 330000 for first year and 330000 for the second year.

As far as i know there is no scholarship facility is offered by our college. But yes our college do provide us with loan availing facility for our studies.

Gender Ratio in the campus is almost 50:50. Christ university is an perfect example of unity in diversity. As i mentioned earlier the campus is very big huge and campus itself is a town inside. All the people from all over the world come here to pursue education. There are different languages, religions are inside the campus.

Hostel is in the campus. Hostel is very strict and security in the hostel is uncompromising. There isn't any food provided in the hostel as there are plenty of cafeterias are situated in the premises. Hostel fees are reasonably low as compared to the outside PGs.

There is a separate alumni committee established inside the campus to facilitate the students with the required help from the wide spread alumni network.

Exams are nightmares in the college. We have exams in every 1 and a half month with no time to study and there is no holiday for us after exams. There is literally no time for relaxation after exams because the next session starts right after the exam. Totally exams are very hectic.

Teaching Faculty can be easily given the score of 7/10. Most of the faculty are very good both in teaching and helping the students to understand the topic and grasp easily. All the faculty in the college are highly qualified with minimum one Masters degree and some of them pursued PHD and a few of them are currently pursuing.
