Remarks

As this college has a good infrastructure and well experienced faculties this was the reason for selecting this college. Here the placement program is also good. This college was preferred for me by my friends studying in that college.

I am from EC department. The reason for selecting this course was the technology which is rapidly growing now a days. So I thought choosing this course can learn more news things and build some projects for the betterment of society. Here all the faculties are well qualified and well experienced in their respective fields.

Placement Experience

As the college as assured to place every student from the department which is highly an impossible task. So we are requested to try for the off campus selection process.

College Events

As I have already mentioned that the infrastructure and the surrounding environment is aesthetic. Here there are workshops seminars trainings etc conducting once in a month. We also have a national level fest conducted by our college. Overall the life in the campus is superb.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure here is around 1.20 lakhs per annum for management students. The fees might differ based on the individuals caste marks etc. Here there is a yearly scholarship of Rs 19000 sanctioned from Karnataka government to the obc catogery students. The campus placements is also good here with 88% placement guaranteed.

Hostel Facilities

As we leave in belgaum so we leave in our home so I don't have much idea about the pg rents. We will ask about this to my friends who stay in the pg and will update you later.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
