Good faculty

The college management is handled by only one person, I would not take his/her name but sometimes it looks like dictatorship. I would suggest college management to take decisions on the basis of feedback of faculty members and students.

I gave AIEEE and scored 44 Marks. I opted for this particular college because of reputation of JK group.

The course curriculum is no doubt better then many of the engineering colleges for India. The faculty is also good. Generally private engineering colleges hire the alumni students as teachers but this is not the case with SPSU. The syllabus of engineering department is inspired from IITs.

NO, our college does not provide any kind of internship. The placement cell is bit slow in this case.

Yeah that is he weakest point for Sir Padampat Singhania University, they are unable to get good companies in the campus. They must work in improving the placements. When I was in my final year I didn't get any good opportunity, so I opted out from job. The average the companies offered was between 2 to 3.2 Lac. Although the there were only 1 or 2 companies which went above 3 LPA.

Each year our college used to organized a technical event named 'Panache' the event was not successful for first two years after then our college management kept on improving the event. They spent decent amount in all the cultural events. One can get good organizational skills as well ad platform to improve management skill because all the activities are organized by students only.We had separate committees for Placements, Mess food, for fresher, for tech events and for counselling process as well.

Fee is little high. For engineering students the fee is 85,000 per semester, when I was studying it was 95,000 per semester but now they have reduced it. The college is totally residential so fee includes hostel, mess, internet and tuition fee.

There is no Loan/Scholarship for normal students. But for those students whose parents are employees of JK group, they get rebate in tuition and hostel fee. Other then these, those students who are toppers of their batch or branch, get tuition fee waiver.

First of all the campus life is good, you get to interact with many type of people who belong to different regions of the country. The gender ration was good it was around 25 F : 75 M. There were very competitions organized when I was the students, not sure about the current situation.

The rooms were okay okay. The rooms are on only twin sharing basis. There is no option for single occupancy and triple occupancy. There are enough hostels to accommodate the students. The college is on NH-76 so there are no PGs nearby and there is a small village 2 kilometers away from the campus. So if someone needs routine stuffs then they may go there and buy after college timings.

We have a Facebook group for old students as well as new ones. There we post job openings and other details. The college alums were helpful and still they help whenever we ask them.

The exam structure and lab was very good. For each semester there were 3 quizzes,1 Mid Term and, 2 End Term and all the marks of the were considered in final score. The labs are good and all the equipment were of good brand and were well maintained. Even the lab exams were taken seriously, We had permission to access the lab for research projects as well and we were allowed to use the lab for doing innovative projects.

The maximum of faculty members are either PhD. or M.Tech. from reputed institutes of India. I liked allover teaching quality as compared to other colleges. Regular classes were organized and the quality of allover exam paper was good. If someone just want to gain knowledge and not targeting for job after graduation than I would suggest him or her to study from SPSU.
