Remarks
The Dramatics Society of GTBIT was a well known name among all the top colleges in delhi. Crowd is a mixture of the sikhs and the non sikhs as it has reservation for the sikhs under sikh quota. Connectivity was great, metro was 5 minutes away. It was located near Pacific Mall so great surroundings also present here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Some of the faculty members were really good and made the subjects interesting for you. But some of course were not of that experience. The curriculum was somewhere average. If you actually take interest in learning it will be beneficial or else it will be same mere learning. But all in all you can not rely on the teachers and the curriculum you have to go beyond your comfort zone for making yourself ready for the competition.
Placement Experience
Placements for my batch were fine. TCS and Infosys were our mass recruiters. The salary packages given were standard for BE/B.Tech freshers, ranging from 3-4 LPA. Profiles offered were decent. Core technical offers are also offered. Students with only 1 drawback are also offered IT jobs in the sector.
College Events
The annual fest of the college is a very big fest. Many celebrities were invited to the college to make the events a huge success. Cultural events are also held in the college where cash prices are rewarded to the students.
Campus Life
Campus was not that huge. There were three blocks. Admin Block, Lab block and the BVS block. All the administrative work was done in the admin block only. There were almost all the laboratories for our course in the lab block and all were well prepared. The classrooms were huge with white boards and some of them had AC's in them too. There was one auditorium and a library in our colllege. All in all the campus was not that big but it was mediocre. There were no Hostel facilities. Canteen was functional during college hours which is a good thing.
