Everything about Nirma

My school teacher recommend me nirma university as my branch specification was fix which was mechanical engineering. Then I did some research over the college and the technical activities carried out in the college are amazing which are as follow: 1)robocon (8 times national champion ) 2) baja (1 time national champion) 3) arrow (1 time national champion) 4) mitshubishi electric cup (1 time national chamipon ) 5) auv 6) gujcost chess playing robot (champion 2020) And some other individual projects funded by college. All these activities are totally funded by nirma. Quality of education is also very good. Just they burden you with lots of assignment which are benifical for students, but still lots of assignment. Particularly in Gujarat it is best college due to the technical activities mentioned above, and best of all funded and fully suported by nirma.

I was specific according to my love for engineering. All the faculties are generally have a PhD degree and the level of knowledge is also good. Some of the young faculties might lack experience but it's ok not very bad experience. Teaching methods consist of ppt, black board teaching, experimental, expert lectures etc. Exam were always on time and also result declaration is on time, institute never fails on that part. The curriculum is set in such a way that minimize the ratio of failing student. The institute conducts continues evaluation through out the year.

After 6 sem, internships are available. Generally the avg package of students is around 6 7 lacs per annum. This year higest package offered to student of ec was by nvidea and was 1900000 per annum. And lowest was offered to mech student of 300000 per annum by a local company. Also Amazon visites the campus to place students of cse dept and they also give around 1900000 per annum. Also Cyprus visits the campus and recruits students from ec and ee dept and give package of 14 lac per annum. I am a mechanical student and I have worked a lot in robotics field, so I would like to get a job in that domain or research and development of any domain. I will see if I get to work with that kind of any company or I am planning to open my own start up for automation of industrial conventional machines or automation of houses etc. Generally, Mech 60 70 % Cse 70 80 % Ec 70 80 % Ic 100 % Chem 100% Ele 50 60 % Are placed.

Campus is just amazing. Many of the Indian celebrities have visited campus. Our honorable pm narendra modi has also visited our campus. Also vijay rupani, amit shah etc have visited our campus. There are many cultural festival held in college through out the year. Biggest event is praveg which is odganised by mesa (mechanical engineering students association) In praveg all navi,army and Air force soldiers have visited and displayed their weapons etc.

The fee rise per year is generally 4000a rs. Students at nirma university has several opportunities of scolarship like mysy, other sc st scholarships and also nirma is providing scholarship to around 150 -200 students in the whole batch of 800 Engineering student. The job placement for cs ece ic is amazing, the avg package of student of these branch is around 10 lac per annum. The job palcement for me ele chemical and civil is not that good. Avg package is around 4 to 5 lac per annum.

Hostels are amazing and food quality is also amazing, but they are not available to btech students. So most of them live in flats near by. Flats rents are around 10000 to 20000 per month depending on the facalities provided. Meals are around 50 to 200 per thali near by. I rented flat in ganesh genesis.
