NIET's Review

The college is committed in providing everything to their students in terms of education, social awareness, cultural awareness. There are mentors for a bunch of students which will help the students in every turn of their life.

Personally I don't like the curriculum and exam structure. There are 3 sessional and then main exams which is same throughout the AKTU. In between 3 sessional, there are atleast 5 assignments and different test are also included, but I also mention that this structure is followed by almost every University. There is no practical knowledge given about today's technology and I believe if the student is not aware today's technology, how you are expecting the student to be fully aware about the future. In my belief the course structure is outdated and is not par worth learning. But that doesn't mean that NIET is not doing anything for their student. The college is conducting different training regarding python, ML, data analysis, deep mining and many more. They are also conducting aptitude classes for their student. The college is committed to their student for providing valuable content to students through online classes.

The placement of our college is good. This year almost 80+ percentage of students are already placed and due to covid-19 the pace of placement is drastically slowed. There are several offers for internship also for which college is conducting different classes like aptitude, coding and many more. Several companies like Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Byju's, and many more recruit from our college.

Several events took place in our college like SIH(SMART INDIA HACKATHON), coding challenge, sports events, cultural events and many more. In a semester, there almost 3-4 events that took place exclusive of the events like diwali, independence day and many more. The events play a vital role in bringing the students from different college, different student form different colleges, even different universities can participate in events.

The college do offer scholarship opportunities to students like fee waiver, UP government's scholarship and many more. But sorry I haven't applied for scholarship.

If there are 100 boys, then there are only 50 girls in terms of gender ratios. There are no student parties, only freshers party(first year) and farewell party(fourth year) took place in out college. Our college doesn't differentiate on the basis of gender, the rules apply on both the gender as well these apply on race also, every student is treated equally. There is no sexual orientation, politics, or economic status in our institute, every student is treated with equal dignity.

No I haven't opted for college hostel. I am living in a private hostel near to my college. The hostel is very good, I am currently residing in AB hostel which is approximately a kilometre from my college, the rooms are well spacious and equipped with features like air conditioning, laundary, WiFi, alternate day cleaning(mopping and sweeping) including bathroom. I am paying for 3 seater room in AB hostel for 95000 rupees and if you pay the fee in one go, you get 3000 rupees discount, the fee for hostel accomodation becomes 92000 rupees. For 2 seater, it is 110000 rupees. There are four seater rooms available but currently I dont know the fee. There are so many hostels in greater noida, pg are also available in great number as well as rented rooms.

Yes, the alumini network is very helpful for each student irrespective of which year he is studying. If you have a good relationship with seniors they help you in everything whether the matter is related to study, relations with college, events or even your personal matters.

I got admission through entrance test. One must score atleast 75% to be eligible for an interview round. I got 77% score and then my interview round with Mr. Raman Batra sir was scheduled and I successfully managed to clear the round. After that there is form filling procedure and then you have to submit your college fees. In my case, it was about 1,32,000 approximately for tution fees and 82000 rupees for college hostel. The security fee is inclusive of the mention fees. The college only accept payment in the form of demand draft or NetBanking, and for NetBanking you have to give them your UTR Number. Cheque payment are not allowed.

There are about 200 teachers in our college in which more than 50% professors and remaining assistant professors. The HOD'S of every department is PhD in their respective fields. In terms of clarity I don't know about every teacher as I only have knowledge about those who are teaching me. The teacher who taught me, they have good knowledge about the subject and are very helpful in providing sufficient knowledge about the topic whenever they are free, we can go to the teacher to clear our doubt whenever the teacher is free at any time. Our teacher uses several aids to tech like projector, lab experiment, and many more. The lecturer also holds industry experience as well as certification, but not all teacher. I don't want to lie about this fact. The majority of lecturer holds the the Industry experience but not all.
