Remarks

I opted this college because as I was aware about the teaching faculty which are very great and experienced. They always support and motivate students in their work. Admission process mostly starts in July and lasts till November. Yet the infrastructure of College is not well developed in every aspect. I too searched over College Dunia for getting details of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Savitribai Phule Pune University deignes our course curriculum which is implemented in college. The marking scheme is very well structured. Academics includes Theory, Practicals, Viva and much more. Faculties are highly qualified and experienced in their core subjects. Exams are conducted every month for better result of students.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

Student from first semester of last year of are mostly eligible for placements. Many prestigious companies like ABB, Amazon, Wipro visit campus and select students if their respective strengths. The average package offered is between 3-5 lakhs per annum. Placement officers teach students to easily crack interviews.

The campus life is much pleasant and energetic as college is situated in hilly areas. Many social and cultural events takes are organized every year by students of different departments. Classroom are big in size accommodating nearly 70 students. Debates, Group Discussion are organized every month as per students interests.

The campus infrastructure is not developed as expected yet includes basic facilities like Free Wi-Fi throughout the campus, drinking water filters, hygienic canteen and cafeteria. There is large playground on which various tournaments are organized. Library is huge in size along with laboratories maintained in proper condition.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel premise is very clean and hygienic with much large and spacious rooms. There is huge jogging track, garden to have small walk meanwhile. The meal quality is just delicious just like as home meals. Also Wi-Fi is provided in hostel region free of cost.

Admission

For getting admission in this college, one has to score good marks in Board And CET Examinations. I appeared for MHTCET Exam and scored 65 percentile in it.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

Sir MVIT - A decent college with great potential to improve.

I had applied through KCET exam and with my rank of around 10000 this college was in match with my rank. Other colleges which I had applied to included msrit, dsce, bmsit, bmsce, rv, etc. I couldn't make it through to these colleges as their cut offs we're higher and i needed a higher rank for my course of choice. Although I would have got selected for a different course like eee, ete, etc. in these above colleges, I gave preference to my course. Admission process was smooth as it was through KCET counselling, once we pay the fees directly through bank account, i just had to visit the college once for the admission process and also pay some extra fees there. KCET would be a better option than comedk or management quota as the fees will be lower....Read More
