Remarks
I chose this as I wanted to stay in the same city where my family is living. Also I had a good review on this University. The good aspects are excellent infrastructure, good canteens, large play grounds and other extra-co curriculars. The bad aspect is the faculty here is not as u expect and not worth for paying 272200.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty here is not as u expect and not worth for paying 272200. The qualification of the faculty is of masters degree and teaching is not good as required. Exams are conducted often and it's not that hard to pass if you do your prerequisites.
Placement Experience
In around 6 semester student becomes eligible for campus placements the number of companies visited my University.Amazon,HCL,Dell,Mahindra, TCS, Accenture, Microsoft, Lenovo etc. the highest packages provide by Amazon for 18 lacs per annum and the and the lowest package is around 360000 by Accenture and TCS. The minimum percentage required for getting placements is above 7 CGPA.
College Events
Pramana is a fest which occurs every 2 years and many celebrities do visit the University. The fest is of 3 days and the last time I did attend was fun and usually different fests are conducted every year. There are many clubs and many sports which u can play at college level. Kalakriti is a dance club. Innovation centre also called as IC is a technical club where u can provide your ideas to create something new and innovative.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is 272200 per year for almost all UG courses and around 400k for masters. Fee hike is expected every year by 5% and I'm still studying in 3rd year.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good. There are four people in a room where u get ur own bed, wardrobe,table,chair. The meal quality is good and you have almost everyday and you have a different menu. we get breakfast in morning with milk or coffee or tea whatever you need. Again at lunch you get meals and for evening snack we get some snacks when we can have tea or coffee or milk whatever you need and then for dinner get chapati rice dal curry and a sweet. The cost for the room is around 85000 per annum.
Admission
No there are no group discussions or interviews to get admitted into this University. U need to get 75% in your intermediate public examinations or write a private examination which is offered by the University.
