No bad remark but attendance of 85% become hectic sometimes. College Management is good overall and it's easy to approach them for help and support.

Yes the course curriculum is well maintained and regularly updated based on feedback of Allumini working in Industry. Nirma updates syllabus based on Industrial trends and updates. Three exams are conducted per semester at regular intervals and practicals are also conducted. College also support research and funds are provided for same. Many students get opportunities to do research in ISRO Ahmedabad. Nirma also focus on overall personality development of students in form of various events technical and cultural.

Top Companies visiting campus were- Amazon, Qualcomm, ARM, NVIDIA, Directi, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Samsung Rnd, Einfochips, Xillinx, NXP, Cypress Semiconductors. The recruitment process was almost same for all online test, Technical interview and then HR. Many companies like Qualcomm, Mentor Graphics, Nvidia, Amazon, Xillinx provided internship. I was selected in Mentor Graphics for internship. College conduct mock session to prepare students for interviews.

Technical - Nutech( National Tech Fest), IFEST conducted by ISTE, IEEE also conduct tech activity. Branch level clubs - ECO, ESSA, MESSA, CHESSA, CSI conduct tech fests. Cultural fests - Vaudeville, Horizon - National level cultural fest with large number of participants.

For Btech the fees is 6.40 Lakh for Btech excluding hostel, PG cost now it around 7lakh. No additional charge to get admission. As compared to other private colleges it's less and feasible. College gives fee break down and also provide various scholarship based on merit.

Yes I got merit scholarship of 90k per year based on mine merit of admission. College provide scholarship based on merit and also in basis of low income criteria. College also facilitate with bank for low rate loans.

Gender ratio varies with branch for ECE, IT, CE it's close to 50-50 for other branch it's less for girls. College has well equipped labs and Nirma Robocon club is World famous for its achievements. In sports also we have one of the best cricket ground in city and courts for badminton and other sports. There is no discrimination based on any factor like sexual orientation, gender, religion. Environment is very healthy and Nirma has zero tolerance policy for raging. And till date no such case has been reported. It's good and safe for all so no worries.

No Nirma has hostel only for Masters students and for MBA, so most of the students live in private hostel near by or PGS and some live in rented flats. PG charge around 1 lakh per year and provide all facilities like food transport WiFi, laundry, etc.

Yes Nirma has a website called Alma connect via which all alumni are connected and support juniors and tell them about opportunities in industry and seniors are very supportive.

I got admission based on JEE Mains Rank. Nirma takes admission in Btech based on three categories- 1) All India (35%) - Based on JEE Mains Rank 2) ACPC (50%) - Based on ACPC Rank for Gujarat Students. 3) NRI/GULF (15%) - Based on JEE Mains Rank, but fees is higher for this category. I opted Nirma, because it's located in a well developed city of Ahmedabad, and it is an old and reputed college. Nirma has been ranked in top 10 private colleges in India by India Today. Also it's the best college of Gujarat. I got admission by All India Category. I had 32k all India rank in Jee Mains. I got ECE in first round of councelling. ECE at Nirma has good placement record with companies like NVIDIA, ARM, Intel, Qualcomm, Cadence, Mentor Graphics. So good opportunity for students as compared to various NIT and private colleges.

Faculty in college is quite good and experienced. Most of them are PhD and have more than 10 years of experience. Age is sort of mixed, some have more than 25 years of experience also. Faculty keeps them self updated with industry standards and teach the best possible way.
