Out of the colleges which I was getting Jss academy of technical education has good placement and good infrastructure. They provide good sports facilities and coding environment. Popularly known as IIT of UPTU/AKTU.this place just cant be capsulated within words. Be it the architecture, infrastructure, services, quality of education, quality of food each and everything is amazing. Most of the staff is from southern part of India and has extensive teaching and learning methods which makes engineering so much interesting. Other than B.Tech. MCA,M. Tech, M.B.A. courses also available. Annual festival ZEALICON is something you dont want to miss. So many events keep taking place throughout the year such as TED-X talks, various workshops for overall development of the students. Placement is very good for CS, IT, ECE. For civil, mechanical also companies visit but only a few students from civil, mechanical get placed as mostly they prepare for GATE and Engineering Services. Easily accessible from Ghaziabad Railway Station through ola/uber cabs. Nearest metro is sector-59. Public transpott such as buses also have this college on their route example DTC-492.
Course Curriculum Overview
Now coming to the Faculty,see the most interesting thing about this College is that 70% of the first year faculty is South Indian and so there are problems you may face while lectures but nothing much.All you have to study during B.Tech,is with yourself only. College, like every other private colleges, lags here, not that good faculty, some teachers are exceptions, but who depends on faculty, studies are on you.
Placement Experience
Placement are satisfactory not that much good as IITs and nits. But if you score good in semesters than only you will get good placement.
College Events
Annual festival ZEALICON is something you dont want to miss. So many events keep taking place throughout the year such as TED-X talks, various workshops for overall development of the students. Best thing about JSS. You will enjoy here with a lot of good students, having a great sense of humor, great in studies, great in sports and great in other fields. Not much pressure of attendance, 60 is enough. If you will join a society, you will get a family here in college. a lot of stuff happen in college. College fest is little disappointing. No celebrity comes. NO DJ NIGHT. however, it doesnt matter much if you are in NCR. you can travel to DU to enjoy all this.
Fees and Financial Aid
AKTU provide scholarship for students having family income less than 200000. If you will go college they will tell you detailed information for scholarship by UP government
Campus Life
Library is good but it is not 24/7. Labs are good they have sufficient equipments. They have football ground, volleyball court, table tennis and badminton court (outdoor and indoor is in auditorium). But the best part is there is stadium (a really big stadium) about 4 km from college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is good. There food quality is much better than other colleges. In hostel they have one badminton court (Only in AC Hostel). They provide TV in mess area. In hostel there is also table tennis.
