Remarks

College was very good and I enjoyed my college life very well.

Entrance Preview

I cleared PET i.e. pre engineering test I scored about 73 % in the same and after that I opt for Poornima college because of desired stream they offered me.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Carriculum was as per the guidelines of the university,it can be more dynamics but as my university was static,I am not able to make use of the same.

Internships Opportunities

This course doesn't demand for the internship but for our curriculum training's these were offered by HMT,Unix 3.0 which gives us things about industry and unix platform.

Placement Experience

Was good as we have dedicated placement officer and he conducted the plkacement opportunity for accenture,euro info,iNFOSYS and many other company come for placement.

College Events

WE celebrated various events like annual function,new year,diwali,Alumni and other various events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There were two different fee structure With in Govt Quota and other one is the paid seat and the allocation of the seats are on merit basis i.e. as per the rank of PET.

Fees and Financial Aid

They provide scolership as per govt. norms and based on the performance of the student. In acedemics as well as in sports.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is not good as girls generally not opt for the professional courses as Engineering parties were fine are good to have in campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities weere at par and as per the espectation of the students,both boys and girls hostel have different warden and the food and the other facilities were hygenic.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini networ was good as the same was handeled by the wife of our director they always keep us informed about various activities happed within the campus.

Exam Structure

The exam Structure is in sync with university pattern and being conducted in time.

Faculty was good and trained,Overall if we can say they are as per the expectation of that level. All are well qualified as per the norms of university guidelines.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
