Good: Placement opportunities, Highly qualified faculty, Peers equity, rigorous learning experience. Bad: Competition among the students during placements. Admission process: 50% marks in graduation and valid CAT scores, however, the selection is based on the candidate's performance in personal interview, academic profile, work experience, and diversity. I preferred this institute for PGPM because of the excellent teaching of the faculties.

Every year, the course curriculum change according to the current affairs and changing scenario and gives industry exposure. The pedagogy is based on case studies, projects, presentations, learning from movies, learning from simulations and experimental exercises, and the faculties are highly qualified and experts in their domains. Even guest lectures are conducted very often so that the students have knowledge about the current industry challenges. If any students have doubts regarding their subjects, they can get in contact with the faculty at any time.

A total of 116 companies participated in the Summer placements at IIM-Trichy and the top recruiters were Google, HPCL, Saint Gobin, Yes Bank, Bosch. Nearly 189 offers were made and IIM-Trichy saw a 24% rise in the number of students receiving stipend of INR 2 lakhs

IIM-Trichy has recorded the highest record of placement this year. A total of 186 offers were made during the campus placement and 119 companies visited the campus. Almost 173 students were placed under the sales & marketing, finance, operations, consulting & analytics domains. The highest package stood at INR 25 LPA, the average package offered was INR 14.96 LPA. The major recruiters were ICICI Pru, ICICI, Ultratech, MU Sigma, Analytics quotient, HP, and various others.

There's no fee hike, students opting for PGPM and MBA programs at IIM-Trichy have to pay the requisite fee structure for that specific course. Many benefits, financial assistance, and government scholarships are offered for the PGPM students such as Central Scholarship for SC/ST/PwD students, Merit Cum Means scholarships for minority students, and NHFDC Scholarships scheme for PwD students.

Campus life at IIM-Trichy is awesome with exceptional amenities and facilities such as The learning Resources center where a student can gain academic and professional knowledge. Students can get access to various databases through the LRC. A huge and spacious ground is situated where any outdoor games can be played. Computer labs are air-conditioned and digitalized. There is a data center and disaster recovery center, Network Infrastructure, IP v6 infrastructure. The smart classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled, air-conditioned with fixed projectors. The IIM-Trichy campus has a IP-based Surveillance system with 100 CCTV cameras.

There are a total of 6 hostel blocks at IIM-Trichy with 3 floors which consists of 18 rooms. Separate hostels are allocated for female, nake, and disabled candidates with specialized facilities. The hostel rooms are connected with LAN for the computing needs of students. There's a canteen that is functional even at night. There are many food options available and a departmental store is located at a walkable distance from the hostel. Candidates can avail single or double occupancy rooms which are fully air-conditioned, furnished, with a private balcony. Overall the atmosphere of the hostel at IIM-Trichy is homely.

The personal interview is conducted to evaluate and determine the candidate's knowledge, personal traits, and skills. Questions are asked based on the specializations and general awareness such as 1. Do you know about sorting algorithms? What is the repo rate? What subjects did you study? Name two endangered species? Who got the nobel prize? Etc.
