VJIT college review -by a passed out student

Overall my college is okay but few professors are not technically strong.

I wrote EAM CET exam and got 10953 rank, and opted for VJIT-hyderabad. The reason i chose VJIT is mainly because of infrastructure and Placements.

The course curriculum is good but all the subjects or topics are not updated. I graduated in electronics and electrical. There is no subject related to robotics which i am very interested in unlike other universities our university won't update the few topics.

No our college did not provide any internship, but i did internship in BHEL as a mini project, overall experience is very good in BHEL.

Our college has collaborated with Anurag Group of Institutions and they brought INFOSYS and TCS and INFOTECH, some 20 guys are placed in those companies the packages is around 3lac above. But to our college no company had come and conducted any placements as our college has some connections Anurag Institutions we have got those opportunities.

For every year there will be a technical festival in our college in that festival most of the students give presentations on various topics and there will be annual day celebrations every year, for annual day celebrations they will conduct some sport events.

I had joined my college through fee reimbursement program so i didn't pay anything but the annual fee is around 35000 but i heard that fee is now increased by some 50% now the fees is around 60000, i wont recommend anyone to opt our college for 60000.

I have joined through fee reimbursement in our college and no loan facility is offered by our college.

There is a cricket and volley boll ground in our college and the infrastructure is also good they will conduct sports and technical fest every year, even that is also very good others than this there are no extracurricular activities.

Our college don't have any hostel facility but i used to stay in Mehidipatnam PG. PG fees is around some 3-4 thousand in Mehidipatnam there are so many PGs the facilities in PGs are okay but the food is not good in PGs they don't provide any hot water.

I know few of my seniors in my college and few of them are very good, i used to ask so many questions to them.

The exam structure is good, in our curriculum we have lab exams also some times exams were very tough in our curriculum we had 4 set of question papers for every exam some sets will be very easy and some are very hard i always felt that everyone should be assessed by same question paper.

The faculty in our college is okay few professors have completed M Tech. but few lecturers have completed just B Tech. our head of the department head is an PhD holder few lecturers are not good they are not good technically even the lab assistants are also not good.
