Remarks

The college has a very good reputation throughout the country. People from various states come here. You get to see the diversity along with the lust green and peaceful environment here. The admission process is quite hectic as all the admission are initially done at the Noida main center. On the day of admission, there was an overwhelming response filling the large auditorium of the college and some students had to stand out. We reached for admission at 9 am and got to go back at 6 pm. The reason for joining this college was the reputation it had at that time and the 100% CS placement claim. Got to know of it from the college website itself and the school seniors who were in the same college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My attraction towards gaming and intuition on how computer code works led me to take the computer science course here. In one batch there is a maximum of 30 students. The teaching faculty has a variety of experience levels. Some are masters at their domains while a few are somewhat not that good. The teaching method is quite good and the best thing about college is its examination pattern with exams being held 3 times in a semester with the marking system being 15, 25, and 35 respectively. Exams were conducted 1 time in a month and a half and all exams were easy to pass but difficult to score well.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

In our time, we had to search for internships ourselves. I personally did training in Angular from Internshala. Can't tell much about it as it's ongoing. Else the placement for me would determine my final outcome and I'll update this review surely

Placement Experience

5

Placements are allowed for students here from the 7th semester. A wide variety of companies visit here. The main attractions being Amazon and Infosys. The highest package is 30LPA CTC and on average 5-7 LPA. 100% placement is the claim for CSE students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy is quite complicated here. And the start of the semester JYC fees is quite out of my knowledge. Placements here are good with companies like Amazon, Infosys, etc. visiting here. The last maximum package I remember was from Amazon of 30Lakh CTC. The fee structure has been quite annoying given these COVID times rest is quite understandable.

Campus Life

4.5

Le Fiestus is the annual fest held here. Murious is the tech fest. The library is the best part of the college it has a vast domain of material available for every student be it books newspapers novels. Classrooms are quite simple and have brick walls rather than well-furnished ones (mostly). Most of the sports are available here to play. There is no football or cricket ground as such but students still play in a small ground with posts that have been provided with college. JYC Instagram handle is created and run by students themselves do visit it.

Hostel Facilities

5

Centrally heated blowers, studying tables and chairs and the bed ofcourse, Along with 2 shelves and a cupboard to keep stuff into. 2 students per room is the default. For a single room, you need to pay 10,000 extra. The meal provided here is the best you can compare it with anyone and won't get disappointed. Even now thinking of the breakfast especially makes me hungry, Registration process for a hostel is the same as the admission process and is usually done hand in hand. A true value for money is the hostel life than the tuition fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
