Remarks
It was found that IMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE is one one the leading college for engineering in North India. It was accredited with NAAC grade 'A' and its department of biotechnology was also accredited with NBA. Its faculties are highly qualified and very supportive of their students. It has world-class facilities and ensures the holistic development of a Student during its course of the period. Its admission process is quite simple. It allows the students to take admission either through the exams that are being allowed by aktu or on direct merit basis. This college is preferred over others because it's campus is very nice as well it provides vast opportunities to get a place in internationally reputed MNCs. I have gone through college Duniya while selected this college for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
As my background is biology in 12th class. Therefore my interest was obvious for the biotechnology branch which offered me a range of oppertunity to do my master degree. Here the faculty to student ratio is 1:20. Here faculties are highly qualified and most of the faculties having thier PhD from eminent institutes of education in India as well as abroad. Term end exams were conducted on time and passing was not so difficult if you have followed the notes and lectures provided by the professors.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placement activities. As I have already mentioned that almost 90 percent of students get placed during placement drive. Various companies like CTS, TCS, Wipro, cord life, etc are the companies which visit regularly on year basis. I would like to go fo higher studies further.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is nominal and the fee hike is not so much. I didn't get any scholarships and financial assistance from the institute. I got a job opportunity in premas biotech with a stipend of 30k per month which is quite decent for an undergraduate student.
Campus Life
Techfest is an anual technical fest was organized and as a cultural fest, Vibgyor has been organized by the institute. Most of the reference books mentioned in the syllabus were available in the library. Various sports and Extra curriculum activities have been conducted on the campus each Saturday. Classrooms were smart and digital. A projector screen is available to take the lecture in the form of ppts. Various groups have been made by the Students on social platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, and telegraph by the name started with the word IMSEC or IMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE.
