Entrance Preview

CMAT and CET. I scored 87.89 % in CMAT. It has a state of art Infrastructure . The teaching staff is also decent .

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is in accordance with the Mumbai University Syllabus. Along with academics lot of stress is given on extra curricular activities. Lots of events are to be organised and presented. The course is well focused on Management subjects pertaining to finance , HR , Operations and Marketing.

Internships Opportunities

Yes , our college does provide internship . I have no idea about the stipend amount but the overall experience is amicable.

Placement Experience

Placement & Job Opportunities are decent in VIT . More companies come to seek for Marketing and finance Profile. Darshaw , L & T , Shipping corporation of India , Reliance Infrastructure etc are few companies that had come for campus placement .Companies for Operations & Logistics have been very few.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees from MMS course is 1,30,000 rs. It is feasible taking into account the infrastructure and Staff we are provided with. Although we are provided access to many college facilities like library and labs etc. the one thing missing was that we did not go to any IV ( Industrial Visits).

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided by the college to some meritorious students. But have no idea about the criteria for claiming it.

Campus Life

The campus of VIT is State of the Art because of its magnificent Infrastructure . All the neccessary facilties are provided for the students. lots of extracurricular activities take place in sports , technical and cultural like the Verve .

Exam Structure

Exam structure of MBA is comparatively easy to Engineering as this involves more of Practical and organising events . It has a Semester pattern. 4 semesters in the 2 years full time course. It has 8 subjects in every sem. In the last year few subjects are University subjects.

Faculty

The faculty at VIT is exceptionally talented and diligent . The In-house faculty is very friendly and amiable . Although they put us to the wall they at same time guide us in the right direction. the visiting Faculty also consist of a very reputed bunch of People.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

A honest review from student who completed one year in VIT MUMBAI

I have applied for parul university, Sanjivani university, K.K.Wagh college of Engineering nashik etc and I have got confirmation for admission from almost all of them but I also applied in CAP rounds so I have got allotted the Vidyalankar institute of technology also so I researched about every college and VIT Mumbai was best in all of them so I took the admission in Vidyalankar institute of technology, yeah also got rejected by D.J.S.C.E for not matching the cutoff or minority. Talking about the admission process I got the admission through CAP round so I have to visit the college as per I have got the batch with all of the documents mentioned on the website of CET CEll with the 2 sets of copies of it and fees accordingly to my Caste when you will complete your admission process they will told you about various scholarships schemes and give you a temporary ID card....Read More

I was admitted in Vidyalankar institute of technology, Wadala trough Mht-Cet Pcm exam. I applied for the exam throught the portal of Mht-Cet online by paying application fees. The eligibility to write the exam is that you should have Physics, Chemistry and Maths as compulsory subjects.
