Remarks
I have selected this Institute because of the ROI it offers with respect to the other institutes in the same range. The cherry on the cake was the opportunities it provides to the students for their overall development.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wasn't clear about my preferences and that is why I have opted for the general program. One positive aspect of the course curriculum is the focus on practice application of work ethics and coordination between each other. The Faculty is well-trained and successfully provides the industrial exposure to the students. The Faculty-student ratio is 1:15 which is more than enough according to the standards.
Internships Opportunities
There were a lot of internship opportunities available to the students for roles from Equity research to business development intern. Companies offering intern roles were from different domains like Deloitte, Asian Paints, RBI, HPCL, etc.
Placement Experience
LBSIM has a track record of 100% placement since the inception of the Institute. Some of the prominent recruiters last year were DE shaw, JP Morgan Chase, Reliance capital, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Asian Paints, Marks & Spencer etc. For the year 20219, the highest packages offered was 21 LPA with an average CTC of 9.9LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees excluding hostel are 11.67 lakhs +30000 Management grid fees + 7000 Alumni relation fees. If you opt for a hostel then it will cost you around 3.15 lakhs. Financial assistance is provided by the Institute as they have tie-ups with some banks for loans.
Campus Life
There's something going on on the campus every other day. We celebrate each and every festival on the campus plus we have a lot of events like Tatva, Dishank module, Ranbhoomi, Samarthya Month, dandiya night, a Cult week etc.
Interview Experience
The topic for GD: Is Bengaluru the new IT hub. WAT was on the same topic. The Interview was revolving around my graduation and my favourite subject followed by my opinion on some political crisis then.
