Remarks
IMNU is a great college to pick because of the faculties, the fact that it is part of a University and is on the University campus. Ahmedabad is a great city for Management graduates given that there are multiple A-Grade colleges there. The fees are comparatively moderate than its competitors. The admission process was quick and simple, I only had to sit for the personal interview and there was no Group Discussion. I talked to the seniors via LinkedIn and they said it is a great place to be if you want to learn more, especially in marketing.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is thorough, they have included a lot of Harvard case studies and a lot of projects to make the students comfortable with regular challenges. The faculty to student ratio is 16:1. The faculties are mostly PHD's in their fields and they are highly educated, well versed with the subjects and with the industrial environment. The exams are really hard because of the high standards, but If you study you can do good.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Wipro, Jio Saavn & Jio Creative Labs comes over offering stipend up to 30,000. Then there are companies like Times Internet that offer 5-10K stipend, and BFSI Companies also come over. Some other smaller companies come over with no stipend too but all profiles offered are good.
Placement Experience
Placements are Okayish, summer placements' scenario are bad due to Covid, most students have internships with start-ups and due to covid, the stipend is also not really high. The final year placement is going good, the placement cell is completely student run but they are doing their best to get everyone placed. I personally got myself placed via my LinkedIn network. The final placement scenario is better than Summer Internships, most students have a package ranging 8-9 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for my batch was fine, and we were not charged any hostel charges during Covid. The tuition fees are not high. I got a merit scholarship worth INR 100000 as I was one of the top 30 students as per my past qualifications and scores. The job scenario is torn due to covid, most internships for SIP are unpaid and a lot of students are placed for a summer internship in small start-ups, not big brands.
Campus Life
My batch has been studying online for the last one year, most of us have never been to campus however we know it is pretty huge and lush green. The e-library is full of resources that we can visit for any research. The Fest are plenty, each club has its own flagship event and there's Nicom which is a huge international conference. We have regular conclaves and events.
Interview Experience
I only had a personal interview round, no GD was conducted, direct personal interview with the panellists - the panellists were all faculties of MBA Course itself. The PI was fairly easy, they just asked basic questions about my past education and career. Questions from the undergraduate course were asked. I prepared for the interview by going through some Youtube videos.
