Remarks

Some of my friends and relatives recommended me this college. Some of the highlights they mentioned very experienced faculty, great ROI, Bloomberg Lab, and an enriching cultural experience. Right from the admission process to completing my first year at LBSIM has contributed immensely to my growth.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very knowledgeable and supportive. The course aims at learning through a practical approach. The exams were made in a manner to improve quick thinking and analytical abilities. The faculty: student ratio is about 1:50.

Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

LBSIM offers end-to-end assistance during the summer internship season. Ample of companies offer enticing internship opportunities. We get to learn a lot of practical skills and are able to apply learned skills in real life.

Placement Experience

LBSIM offers assistance for both Summer internship and Final placements. All specializations receive ample opportunities to work with reputed organizations. Summer internship placements usually start in early September and go on till March. LBSIM enjoys 100% placement during SI and Final placements as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is decent considering the return on investment. LBSIM offers merit-based scholarships and also to economically weaker students. The dedicated summer internship and placement cells offer assistance to all students through ample opportunities to work in reputed organizations.

Campus Life

The life at LBSIM campus is really enjoyable. The campus has all the necessary amenities that one would need. The annual fest of LBSIM, TATVA is usually conducted in the months of February-March each year. Along with the Samarthya month is also organized in November-December each year which sees events being organized by all the clubs. The classrooms are fitted with the latest high-tech technical tools to aid a seamless teaching experience.

Interview Experience

The topic for my GD was "Smart Cities in India". The group discussion round was followed by a written test and personal interview round. The interview questions were designed to measure the basic knowledge of the candidate concerning his/her preferred specialization.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

LBSIM: Life Changing Experience for me.

I was offered admission by Fore, Delhi, NMIMS Bangalore, Hyderabad, GLIM Gurgaon but I talked to people of different colleges on Linkedin. I found that LBSIM people were good at interactions and overall location, curriculum suited me the most. The admission process had a GD followed by PI. I was selected through CAT but selection through XAT is also availble. Cut off ranges from 72 percentile for RBA to 84 percentile for General. I had wailist at Fore, which got clear after the first round but the response of LBSIM's RBA was better than Fore's BDA...Read More
