Entrance Preview

I gave GMAT and got a score of 710. I chose ISB over other schools because it is the only global school in terms of its curriculum as well as practices which exists in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is one of the best with latest business cases on new startups as well as fortune 500 companies. With practical programs like ELP and FIRP students are exposed to the cutting edge research going on in fields like operations, finance etc.

Internships Opportunities

No the college does not provide internship however have ELP programs which are 2-3 months long assignments on live projects. No stipend is given during this time.

Placement Experience

ISB offers the best placements opportunities in India compared to any other business school. The average package is ~22 Lakhs which can go up to any level depending upon your past experience. International offers are also lucrative and provide excellent opportunities to work with leadership positions.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit during the time of admissions. In case your profile seems to be really diverse you may be offered 5 lakh scholarship.

Campus Life

We have ample opportunity to pursue any extracurricular at the campus. With a world class recreational centre with internal basket ball court, squash courts, table tennis, badminton and swimming pool ISB is the place to pursue a sport. The gender ratio of males to females is about 60:40.

Exam Structure

Being a one year course it is definitely hectic with exams almost every two weeks. Also with the best of minds around it becomes very competitive and makes you stretch and reach your highest potential. A regular day can be of 15-18 hours of work at ISB involving different activities and classes.

Faculty

Faculty at ISB is of the highest standard and is the best compared to any TOP business school even in the US. The reason is that ISB invites world renowned names like Prashant Kale, Bhagwan chowdhary , Renuka Rajan etc. from the best schools of the world.

I opted mba because I belongs to commerce so I chose mba because in future it will be more helpful for me to enhance my skills I got a seat through entrance in anwar uloom college and I have heard that faculty is good in this college and the environment is good students got placements and internships teaching methods are good.and during exams if a student is late for a 2 minutes also they will not allow to write the exam so every student should be puchtual in their exams ..these are the rules in every college and every student should follow.

Placements are not as expected it is about only 50 percentage.we ourselves have to search for internships and placements for some extent.final semester students are eligible for campus placements.companies like coromandel, godrej agrovet, Bayer , syngenta cropwings, khethari agritech,kapil agro farms etc are the companies which provide placements to the students 40 percentage of the students got placed.highest package is about 6 lakhs per annum

Academics, internship and Life at IBS Hyderabad

Placement Experience:

Students at my college become eligible to sit in the campus placements from 3rd semester. A wide range of companies(big 4, BNY, Wipro ect) visit the campus for various roles. The highest package is somewhere around 20 lakhs and average package is somewhere around 10 lakhs. Nearly 97 percent of the students secure placements. After completing my MBA i plan to pursue my career in HR leveraging my prior work experience and secure a good position in the same field.

GoA excellent college leads to good deeds

Course Curriculum Overview:

To settle in the good financial sector and to improve my skills. The student ratio is less in MBA courses. The faculty is less supportive. The faculty is well educated with Ph.D. and Doctraits, Method of teaching should be changed. There was no time for preparation for term exams. It was quite difficult to pass.
