IIM Overview

I opted for IIM because of its placement record, and education facilities. IIM Trichy is one of the highly ranked institutes among IIMs and has one f the best education facilities. The institute provides you with all the required education facilities like auditoriums, libraries, projectors, 3D glasses, etc. Additionally, the placement record of the institute is considered to be high among other colleges, and that's why it was my first choice for the management program.

PGP program at IIM is divided into 6 semesters, and the faculty ratio is 1:15, which means for every 15 students there is one teacher. The course covers the theoretical, as well as practical aspects of the course, which prepares students for professional fields. The faculty members are highly qualified and friendly, so you can always reach out to them in case of any queries, and questions.

Yes, IIM provides internship opportunities to students during the summer as a part of its program. The internships are a great way to learn about the professional aspects of the program and experience office life. Students can expect a stipend, and internship completion letter at the end of their internship period, which is of 1 or 2 months.

IIM has a 100 percent placement record and is considered the best college in the states when it comes to placement opportunities. The placement cell of the institute takes care of all placement activities in the college. During the placement drive, top companies like Amazon, tata, Paytm visits the college ground to recruit students for various vacancies available. Students can expect an average salary package of 10 lakh per annum, and the highest salary package can reach up to 20 lakh per annum during the placement drive.

The total fee of the program is around 8 lakh in total, which includes tuition fees, material costs, facility charges, and other costs. The fee structure for PGPM is feasible and transparent. Students can also apply for various scholarships provided by the government, and financial assistance offered by the institute.

The institute conducts annual fests for students which includes various activities, and domains like dancing, singing, art performance, drama, etc. Not only that, but the institute also organizes various fests, and fun events on the campus grounds. Hostel facilities are offered to both girls and boys separately on the IIM campus. The hostel rooms have all the required facilities for students such as attached washrooms, and bathrooms, refrigerator, tv, fan, water facilities, etc. The registration process for the hostel begins at the starting of the academic year, however, students can apply for rooms in the middle of the semester if required.

The interview is conducted to select qualified students for admission. The admission process for the PG program at IIM is easy, first, you have to appear for the qualifying entrance exam, and secure a minimum qualifying mark. On the basis of marks secured, you will be called for the CAP admission process, which includes a written assessment, and interview round.
