Remarks
My main reason for choosing IIM was 100% placement guaranteed, astonishing campus, top facilities, and travel accommodations. The campus is situated near to my hometown and offers the best placement offers to all of its students, and that's why I decided to apply for IIM. The admission process for the postgraduate program was super easy, all you have to do is appear for the entrance exam, and appear for the admission process. The final selection of the students is based on the overall CAP score.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always had a keen interest in the management field, and that's why I decided to apply for the PGPM program at the university. The course curriculum is designed in a way that it covers both, the dynamic theoretical concepts of the program, and practical analysis of the same. The faculty member ratio is 1: 20 per faculty, making it easy for students to reach out to the teachers for any queries or questions.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are a great means to understand what field is best for you, and you can also earn money while you are at it. IIM offers various internship offers to students of first, and second year, and accordingly interested students opt for internship for a period of 1-2 months. At the end of the internship, the student can expect an internship completion certificate, and stipend as per the company's norms.
Placement Experience
During the placement drive, more than 100 companies visit the campus grounds and select the final year students for placements. Some of the top recruiters of IIMs are; Vipro, Tech Mahendra, Amazon, HP, Goggle, Paytm, etc. Students can expect an average salary package of 15 lakh per annum, and the maximum package can go up to 20-30 lakh per annum as per students' eligibility.
Fees and Financial Aid
IIM has the lowest fee for post-graduate programs in comparison to other IIMs, making it more feasible, and affordable for students. The overall fee for the PGPM program is around 10 lakh, which has to be paid in installments. The fee hike policy is said to be 10% every year, however, it can be changed as per the situation. Students with financial problems can reach out to the team authority, and avail financial benefits, and discount on their program fees.
Campus Life
IIM conducts its annual fest in the month of February, in which the whole campus is decorated with colors, lights, and aesthetics. Throughout the academic year, the college conducts its activities and fests for students. The college also conducts various activities for students such as sports competitions, dance and art performances, concerts, outings and many more.
Hostel Facilities
IIM hostel rooms are provided with all the required facilities such as bedrooms, cupboards, washrooms, bathrooms, refrigerator, tv, fan, laundry services, meals, and water to make students feel comfortable. The hostel charges are quite feasible, and the application for hostel rooms begins at the start of the academic year.
Interview Experience
For PGPM Admission at the Indian Institue of Management, students have to first appear for the CAT examination. The section of eligible students is based on the following parameters; CAT score of the student, and cut of release by the exam authority. The final selection of the students will be done on the basis of the interview round, written assessment, work experience.
