At my percentile, I had no hope to get a call from IIM but IIM Nagpur focuses on your overall profile much more than any other IIM- score of 10th,12th & graduation + work experience is more important which is absolutely essential. Batch here is diverse in terms of background and 30 months is average work experience, therefore students have professional maturity. The admission process begins in March where you need to send SOP and your details. Students qualifying there cut off score gets to appear for interview ( GD was scrapped last year due to covid). The process was transparent, smooth and fast. Admission is offered along with shortlisting. I m a mother to an infant, college didn't discriminate against me for that rather kept on motivating one to bring out the best in me. Also, they have a family hostel on the MIHAAN campus- shifting there in June. Fees are 2nd lowest amongst IIMs n much lesser than private. Institute is growing rapidly due to its strategic location. 100% placement record. Excellent faculty.

Excellent and experienced faculty, most of them are doctorate and industry experts. Teaching methods are student-centric i.e. class participation is mandatory, pre-reads n post reads are suggested. The overall course is rated on an individual as well as group activities. Courses are evaluated at regular intervals- surprise quizzes, in-class polls, group and individual assignments, midterm and an end-term exam and group projects.

On-campus internship opportunities are available though if you want you can try off-campus too. Major recruiters this year were BNY Mellon, HPCL, V Guard, JIO creative labs, crowd strike, future Generali, L&T infotech gammasec, Bharat Dalmia, Philips carbon black. Over 100 companies recruiters recruited 210 students.

Placements are offered by the college Placement cell. 168 companies recruited over 300 students this year. 100% Placement for both internship and final Placement. Consulting, marketing, sales, finance, operations and product management roles were offered this year.

Nominal fees, good Return on investment. Scholarship, loans are easily available through banks. Most of the internships are with a stipend. The average stipend for 2 months 60000, over 100 companies visited this year. Smooth and transparent placement process.

15+ academic and extracurricular clubs and SIG are there and they keep you updated with there industry news. Hostels are excellent. A single room with an attached bathroom is allotted. Basic furniture like bed, table chair and Almira is provided along with bookshelf. Food is healthy, hygienic and tastes good. Night canteen is available.
