Remarks

Good ROI and IIM brand association was my primary reason to choose the college. I also talked with some of the students before and found the course curriculum is very good. Most of the faculty is from Tier 1 colleges and visiting faculty is also good. One of the cons that concern me, was not having its own campus while I was planning to take admission in this college. The admission process was very smooth and transparent. Due to Covid-19, the process was online and information regarding the process was well informed.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is great and flexible and the course gets upgraded every year as required. The first year will be common for all and provides the basic knowledge of all the subjects. Case base methodologies are used to teach to give exposure to real-life scenarios. Faculty are very good and experienced and belongs to from top tier colleges.

Internships Opportunities

A large no of companies visited for a summer placement and 100% student gets placed. The average stipend for the 2020-22 batch was Rs 60953 which was Approx. 12.7% more than the previous year. The college many first-time recruiters lined up for the summer session. Many students got placed in MNC.

ROI of the college is very good. Every year it gets improved over the previous year. A large no of companies in the various domains provides job opportunities and summer internships for the students. The placements process of IIM Nagpur is transparent and the Placement report of IIM Nagpur is audited and can be found on the official website of IIM Nagpur. Even in this Pandemic IIM Nagpur able to finish the final year placement of the 2019-21 batch well before their peers with Avg 13.21 Lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

ROI is very good and financial assistance is also available from college on a need basis. All the information can be found on the Official website of IIM Nagpur. Students do not face any problem getting the loan and initial registration fees are also less.

Campus Life

Due to Covid-19, classes were online but clubs and committees took a great responsibility to organize extracurricular activities and management fest. The annual flagship fest of IIM Nagpur is organized in the months of Feb and Mar where various clubs and committees take the initiative to organize the National level event for the students.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Perks of cracking IIM, Nagpur

Apart from IIM, Nagpur I applied for NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO and other IIMs too. I converted IIM Vishakhapatnam, IIM Trichy, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO AIR 14th. Remaking of Career - IIM Nagpur - 9th Best IIMs out of Best B- Schools in Country

The admission Process at my time was full of options. There was a CAP - Common Admission Process for 11 IIMs which were mostly 2nd Generation and 3rd Generation IIMs apart from IIM Nagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam, and IIM Amritsar. I got a call from every IIM for flagship PGP - MBA apart from IIM A and IIM B. Based on my score of IIM C and IIM K, I got direct admission to IIM Nagpur for the 2018-20 batch. Eligibility of the course can be done only through CAT which is handled by the IIMs. Once my CAT scores came out, I applied to the college through CAT on the college's website. Once I cleared the cut-offs specified by the college, I received a mail to fill out the SOP and application.
