My life till now

The admission process is very simple and it happens through the CAP process which is a common process for all new and baby IIM's. The interviews happened in April and joining came in July. I preferred this college over others because it is a finance college and I want to do MBA in finance. The campus has great infrastructure in terms of sports facilities available here and the design and style of classes.

There is approximately 1 faculty per 60 students. All the faculties are PhD from reputed universities in their respective areas and they teach only that particular domain on the campus. As this year the MBA was online they utilized technology really well and made sure the proper learning is imparted to the students in the best possible way. One term is of 3 months and exams are conducted twice a term.

Yes, summer internships are offered. Internships are off-campus and students have to go to the office and work there. For all the domains internships are offered and good companies visit every year and 100% placements are achieved every year with a great stipend.

The placements are awesome here on campus. For summers the students are eligible in the second term and for final placements, students are eligible in the fourth term. There are many good companies that visit the campus and offer good pay. There is a 100% placement record.

For the fees hike, I can't say anything but yes for last year the fees were around 15 Lakhs, and for our batch, the fees are around 18 Lakhs, so fees have increased. The fee structure is properly explained and well defined on the website and one can visit and see it. There are a lot of opportunities for scholarships and financial assistance for SC/ST/OBC and DAP students. Even the students who Top the batch also get financial assistance.

Life at the campus is amazing. It's fun to experience. There are a lot of events and fests that take place and the main flagship event is DHRUVA that takes place in the month of February. There is a learning resource centre for studies and every material is available there and books are provided for reading. The classrooms are properly maintained and well-lit. There 21 clubs and committees on the campus of which students can be part. There all the sports facilities available and each and every game is being played.

There is everything available in rooms, like a table, chair, fan, Almira, mirror, stool, cupboard, AC, balcony, and window. The room has a lot of space and is properly maintained. The food quality is good and 4 times a day food is being served. There are 7 hostels for boys and girls.

There is no GD for the CAP process. Only Interview and WAT are there. The topic for WAT is from general awareness and about 6 months of general knowledge enough for the preparation. For an interview, one should know about himself properly and get enrolled in a good institute where you can good practice for interviews and give a lot of mock interviews.
