Remarks

I had other options like FORE and Tapmi but I chose LBSIM for the ROI, Bloomberg, and multiple other lab facilities, travel convenience from my place and the faculty. I am about to complete 1 year with the institute and so far have not been able to find a bad aspect for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very well versed with what they are teaching. They are thorough with the latest development in respective fields and provide us with vast knowledge. Additionally, the concepts are explained to the core with the help of research papers, case studies, assignments.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internships to all the students with varied roles and an average stipend of 20,000 p.m. The companies that visit for internships offer roles in all the domains. Multiple companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Kotak Bank, Asian Paints to name a few visit the campus.

Placement Experience

The campus placements are for 2nd-year students with a 100% placement rate. The average package offered is 9.9 lpa with the highest being 21 lpa. A lot of reputed companies visit the campus like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Kotak Bank, Asian Paint to name a few.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the course for the year 2020-2022 stand at 11.67 lpa. There has been no hike during the year I took admission and the same goes for the upcoming batch. The scholarships are available for meritorious and needy students. In addition to this, the college has ties with reputed banks that provide financial assistance without much hassle.

Campus Life

The college timely organizes multiple fests and events to keep up with the humdrum of college life. The library is filled with thousands of books covering all the subjects and important topics. In addition to this, we get a subscription of Business Standard newspaper.

Interview Experience

While appearing for the admission process, we were assessed in GD, WAT, and PI. The topic for GD and WAT were the same:- future of EVs in India. The PI was very comfortable and questions pertaining to the area of expertise were put up. Adding to that, some general knowledge and basic domain-related questions were asked to assess the candidate.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

LBSIM: Life Changing Experience for me.

I was offered admission by Fore, Delhi, NMIMS Bangalore, Hyderabad, GLIM Gurgaon but I talked to people of different colleges on Linkedin. I found that LBSIM people were good at interactions and overall location, curriculum suited me the most. The admission process had a GD followed by PI. I was selected through CAT but selection through XAT is also availble. Cut off ranges from 72 percentile for RBA to 84 percentile for General. I had wailist at Fore, which got clear after the first round but the response of LBSIM's RBA was better than Fore's BDA...Read More
