In 2019 I gave my CAT test just like any other M.B.A candidate and was fortunate enough to clear on the first attempt. The WAT-PI admission process for the CAP interview took place in mid-February. For WAT-PI i choose Kolkata as the center. Our WAT topic was something relevant to global economics. The PI was taken by two panelists and they were super chilled asking questions about my previous work ex, why MBA, and also a live problem where I had to work out on a solution then and there. The sites that help me for preparation were Pagal Guy and my mentors at Time Shillong. I was selected in all the IIM with cap interview but choose IIM Trichy because of its in-depth Finance campus image and being a finance enthusiast it was the most sort out campus for me.

IIM Trichy offers a 2-year PGPM or M.B.A programme that is split into trimesters over the course of a year. The first three terms of the year put our skills to test in almost every area including Finance, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Human resources and helps us built a clearer picture of which specialization we should take. in our second year. Our institute is fortunate to have the best Faculty from reputed B-schools with extensive industry experience which is reflected in the lessons they impart to us in class. There are four sections with a strength of 60 per section having a 3/4 male and 1/4 female. There are two exams per term, a mid-term and the end term.

Yes, the college offers us internship opportunities. Under the Placement Cell companies come to college for summers shortlisting students from various roles and carrying various skill sets. Companies like HSBC, JPMC are some of the names that come to campus for internships.

The Placements like any B-school institute are handled by the placement team of that institute. The placement team under the supervision of the faculty in charge is responsible of bringing the companies to campus with roles ranging from all the specialization.

The tuition fee is 2,75,000 per term and with everything taken into consideration, the final amount comes to 18 lakhs for the entire course. There are scholarships too provided by the institute depending on certain eligibility criteria, a person is granted the scholarship.

Campus life is fun with so much to do apart from academics and studying. There is the resource center, a highly modernized gymnasium, swimming pool, and various clubs and societies where we get a chance to interact and connect with more people and improve our networking skills

The hostel is nice with a large spacious room and a Balcony alongside it. Since it's a residential program you directly enrolled on the campus once you opt of joining the institute. There is nothing as Day scholars, it's a fully residential programme.
