Internship companies for management

Manipal University is one of the biggest names in Rajasthan. I wanted to pursue b.com and it seemed that Manipal is the right option. Those looking for specialisation in BCom i.e. Hons then Manipal provides ACCA which is well known. We do not get any placement offers after b.com which also exists in Manipal.

Course design is really good but the faculties do not focus on practical learning it is all about theoretical. We did not get a chance to learn how to implement things. Some faculties do not even consider to teach their whole course but some are really good.

In my course of B.Com, there were only 1-2 companies that came for an internship. We have to compulsory do an internship as a part of the course. We were on our own to get an internship. After completing we have to make a report of the things which we learned and did there.

Placements for the B.Tech is good but if we talk about other branches like BBA, B.Com there are hardly any companies which visit for these branches. The average package I think is around 5-7 which is average if you are looking for B.Tech then you can consider Manipal.

If we look at the fee for b.com it was 1,50,000 for the whole course which is quite high if we compare it with some other universities but the facilities which Manipal provides once we are in the campus the amount looks smaller. I did not go for the placement as I knew that I will not get any good placement for B.Com.

Life at the campus, I can say that it is one of the best in the country. There are events going every fortnight. We have different fests for each department. There are many outlets through which we can have the type of food we want. Sports facilities are really good there is ground for every sport except swimming.

Hostel fees were 2 lakh when I enrolled for the hostel but the hostel fee was increased next year. The rooms are the best a hostel can offer. Meals are the same as we get in other hostels. For those who do not want to stay in a hostel, there are many societies nearby like Omaxe city, unique builders my haveli, hanging garden etc. where you can get a room easily.

In 2016, there were no particular criteria for admission we just needed 50% in 12th. But in recent time some of the courses like BBA they have started taking interviews. I have not heard about any group discussions.
