VARSHA PARMAR's Review On Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Baroda - [MSU], Vadodara

There were two courses to opt for one was B.com and the other one was BBA . There were no entrance exam for B.com but in BBA there were three kind of phases one has to pass to be a part of MSU BBA . I chose to be a part of MSU BBA . We had to give written exam kind of aptitude test then qualified students were allowed to go to next round that was presentation followed by interview.

The BBA course was divided into semesters. First two years there was no specialization but in last semester of third year there was a specialisation subject to be chose from.

As there is name of the course demands internship in the real world . Our college gave us an opportunity to visit and review the management of the best company in the cold drinks industry that was COCA COLA . Our college had arranged one day visit to COCA COLA to see the manufacturing process and the factory outlet .

Well known companies had come to our campus to recruit a good hand , reliance industries ltd , TCS , axis bank, confederation of commerce and industries, ABB ltd , jyoti ltd , L and T ltd , icici bank were the highest recruiting companies. Each company offered around 5 lack to 8 lack pa . out of 120 studnets 90% were offered a job 10% refused as they wanted to go abroad or at other states for higher studies.

Fees is feasible normal - 15000 per year ,payment seat - 45000 per year ,higher payment seat -75000 per year .The fee structure was totally based on government rules and regulations. I passed out in the year 2009 there were some changes made from time to time in the fee structures afterwords.

I dont have much knowledge about the scholarship given to students but as per my knowledge bright students and who are good at study used to get Good amount of scholarship also loan facility was at low interest rates for further study and that also to be paid after completing the course.

Yes Alumni Association are very much active even I try to get in touch with the committee whenever I find time, they hosts reunion and other function and try to get good information to new comers and also invite students to join. Moreover Alumni Association has been very good source of reference and they provide information regarding each and every activity.

All the faculty of MSU BBA has their own reputation some were at other places. All faculties were having industry experience so we can get a very closer view of the real world, marketing was found very interesting subject for all the students as there was no theory only practical thing were to be though in the classes.
