Remarks
About OU it's good and has worth for your Degree, PROS: Good & supporting faculty, Good college atmosphere, Goof support from management, Reasonable tuition fees, Liberal evaluation of your papers, Good and encouraging environment. CONS: I think the syllabus is too standard should be dynamic for the market these days, No placements support(you can't expect in a traditional university like OU), Can also introduce new fields of specialization and should focus more on specializations rather than traditional graduation streams.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I planned my career in the accountancy stream. Yeah, 20:350( 20 faculty members for the strength of 350 students). All facilities are well qualified & yes they possess great teaching skills although few faculty go through these traditional methods of teaching most of the faculty members are modernizing themself for current technology. Once every 6 months exams are conducted.
Placement Experience
For the 6th semester, students become eligible for placements. Generally, companies do not recruit but consultancy does recruit and help them to place in companies. I don't know such highest package till now. Almost all get placed because it's not directly company hiring.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees as per my knowledge it's 30K per annum. You can avail of a scholarship as per your cast and reservations. I didn't get any job on campus I think only students pursuing PhD could get a job on campus. Yes, you can get an academic scholarship if you exceptionally perform in your school days and in your +1,+2.
Campus Life
There are few Fests inside the campus named OU fest. Yes, our campus has a great library and a great collection of books and journals. Coming to classrooms not great infrastructure but yes you can expect good classrooms with decent amenities. Not that much about sports but yes there are some inter college competition.
Interview Experience
No group discussion as such because there is no entrance exam for the course but yes they are a few new courses for which you should attend entrance and should perform in the group discussion and all such.
