IIM Nagpur comes on top amongst third-generation IIM, apart from this the admission process even though lockdown was implemented it was conducted smoothly online. IIM Nagpur also has a location advantage, being located at a central location.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is the flagship course at IIMs. there is sufficient faculty: student ratio. The faculty teaching here is experienced with most of them having their PHDs from top IIMs and other renowned colleges, universities. Exams are conducted timely including in-class activities, quizzes, and assignments.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college conducts a summer placement process for the internship process. Around 60 companies visited for summers. The average stipend was 66,000 rs. The roles were Marketing, business development, operations, consulting etc.
Placement Experience
From the first term itself, the pre-placement process for summers starts with CV verification and interview preparation by a third party. Then companies start coming from the beginning of the second term for summers. The average for finals was 13 Lakhs. Companies like Microsoft, HPCL, BNY Mellon, Bain & CO. 100% of students were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 13,75,000 Rs for two years. The fee is comparatively less when compared to other private colleges and first, second-generation IIMs. There are many scholarships provided by the institute based on economic status.
Campus Life
Annual management fest Tangerine trails are conducted in February - March. The cultural fest ZMF is conducted in March. The library is well stocked with access to online databases such as statista, Bloomberg. There are around 20 groups in the college managed by students
Hostel Facilities
The hostels consist of a well-furnished room having a bed, almirah, study table, cupboard. The mess facility is average. All students have to stay on campus. The hostel also has a common fridge, washing machines, and an induction facility.
Interview Experience
The process consisted of the first shortlist based on profile, the shortlisted candidates filled an application form. After that again candidates were shortlisted for the interview process. The interview process was conducted online. Most questions were based on the resume, followed by some HR questions and GK questions. Preparation was done by going through prep videos on video and regularly reading a newspaper.
