Remarks
I took admission through CAT with a minimum of 80 percentile, later calling eligible students at the campus for the briefing session and the personal interview process which will be held tentative in the month of February or March and then a list of selected students will be declared offering different colleges as per the choice of courses applied by the applicant. I preferred this college because of the facilities offered here and the exposure it gives to the students. As it includes IIP (International immersion program) which will be a 7-day course at Singapore University and students will be getting a separate diploma for it. I had heard a lot about this college from my mentors and family friends and did a lot of research on shiksha.com, gofyi.in and college unit too.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and the curriculum is a lot of brief precise and highly relatable. It gives an in-depth knowledge of the given time frame and provides a deep understanding of the topics and methods used to teach here are quite extraordinary because of highly trained and experienced experts. Almost all the teachers are rich in experience from all the top management colleges and are equipped with degrees/diplomas from top institutions. The term exams are held in 2-3 months as it is a trimester course, midterm exams are held in 4-5 weeks from the start of the term and end terms every 10 weeks from the start.
Internships Opportunities
Currently, I am in my 3rd term so I haven't started my internship as of now but as far as my seniors have told they got a lot of exposure and experience from their summer internship program. Currently, I have got my Summer internship in New Delhi, the company named Insplore consultants offering profiles as Finance and Marketing with a variable stipend of up to 15000 per month depending on our performance.
Placement Experience
5th term students are eligible for on-campus placements. Almost 95% of the students are given placements from the companies coming on board on the campus. The highest package of last year was 31.5 lakh and the average package here is around 11.25 lakh. A lot of companies visit our campus including all the top firms and big 5 companies too offering huge packages to the students with a plethora of exposure thereafter.
Fees and Financial Aid
The too fee of the course is Rs. 1498000 which is needed to be paid in 4 instalments of Rs. 374500 each. After the covid19 scenario, the management has decreased the fee from 1598000 to 1498000 and have taken all the measures by providing different sets of scholarships to studious students across all the courses offered. The scholarship offered here is up to Rs 100000. The internship offered during the summer break is up to 1 lakh per month and it provides the assistance of a summer internship program (SIP) to each and every student.
Campus Life
The annual fest conducted here is named Genesis which is a 2-days fest. The college included a lot of facilities for sports and extracurricular activities with offering a plethora of options to choose from and students can join cultural committees for the same. And a lot of blogs are run by the different other committees by the students here. As I had my year in the pandemic situation I couldn't experience more of the campus life but as far as I have heard and looked upon I can say it includes everything possible.
Interview Experience
Yes, I did face a Personal Interview and prior to it, there was a 30 to 40 minutes briefing session od the college where it explained each and everything on the campus. The 1st process was a 10 questions quiz and also we need to write a short paragraph on a given random topic. Then we were arranged in sets for our personal interviews which included a 1 minute extempore a topic was given and 30 seconds to prepare for it and 1 minute to speak on it followed by some basic general questions related to economics or any topic depending upon your graduation background. I had prepared for all these rounds as soon as I cleared my CAT I did with the help of my parents and mentors.
