My college experience

Pros: diversified students with different backgrounds and cities. Experienced Faculty, 30 years of Existence. It located in the Capital of the country, which makes it easier to bring in companies Notable Alumni. Cons: Small Campus Size as compared to other similar B Schools. Batch Size has been increased which I feel is a disadvantage as well. I believe the brand value has declined in the past 3-4 years. The admission process was really well organised, first with registration process with different cut off for different courses, with the lowest cut off being 75 percentile for PGDM BDA. Then we had a small test on General Knowledge and then a personal interview round. I took this college over colleges like GLIM, Kj Somaiya because of its location, Brand name. Blogs that I mainly used were Quora, Pagalguy. I also used LinkedIn to contact seniors and alumni.

Because of the content of the course and it's good previous track record. Good faculty to students ratio. Most of the faculty is well qualified with reasonable good experience. Term exams were relevant and were as per the curriculum, passing is not very difficult, but I believe The marking scheme i.e. relative Marking scheme is not a good way for grading.

Outlook, Skyria, Snooplay, HSBC, Nestle, Fyndhyre, Sivana, ITC, Nestle, Collegedunia, Thinki, Tide etc. Projects like Marketing and Sales, finance, Human Resource, Operations, Strategy, content etc.

Placement is 9-9.5 Lpa Avg/Annum. From the 4th trimester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like HCL, Collegedunia, Wipro, Capgemini, HSBC, ITC, Asian paints, Nestle, Tech Mahindra, Icici bank.

For my batch, the fees are Rs 14,95,000. Because of COVID, the fees were decreased a little and we were asked to pay in instalments. Students with top marks and low-income background who fulfil the criteria of the college are offered the scholarship. Right now, I got a SIP and live project for which I will get a total of Rs 20,000.

Genesis is the annual fest conducted in FEB. Books and sources are available easily in the library. Good facilities in classrooms. Poor sports facilities. There are many clubs nd activities which takes place, which gives students a good experience.

About myself, my preferences, Academic questions on marketing and Eco, some GK questions were asked. Why MBA, Why FORE. I prepared through online videos ane by getting in touch with seniors and alumni and reading reviews of students who already gave the interview.
