Remarks

FORE is a decent college with decent faculty. Classrooms are well equipped. Internship opportunities and final placements are also good. This college is especially for those who choose Marketing as their specialization however there are decent opportunities for other specializations as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members of this college are decent. All are PhD holders. Some are very good and some are OK. The class size is 60 students. It's not difficult to pass term exams as there is a relative grading system.

Internships Opportunities

This year because of covid not many opportunities were there. Still, there were some good companies visiting the college. The internship opportunities are decent. Everyone will get an internship from college.

Placement Experience

The placements are decent. The average package is around 9-10 lacs. The students become eligible for final placements from 2nd year, around September. Companies that visit are good. 100% placement record. Most of the companies offer marketing profile.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are 15 lacs due to covid otherwise it is 16 lacs. Scholarships are given to some students. Financial assistance is provided through college via different banks. The average package is around 9 lacs but this year due to covid is 7lacs.

Campus Life

There are many committees and many events that take place from time to time. The library is good. The college doesn't have a hostel and the campus is not very big. There is an annual fest of the college. Classrooms are well equipped.

Hostel Facilities

College doesn't have a hostel of its own. It's not a residential college. However, the college has tied up with a nearby hostel. And also there are many hostels/PG in that area. The meal is ok in some hostels, however, there are many dhabas outside where good food is available.

Interview Experience

Interviews are conducted across varies cities in India. The interview process includes the first written test and then a personal interview. In the written test currently, affairs were asked and one topic was given to write an essay on it. And interview questions were easy was mostly based on what you have done previously.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.
