Remarks
I choose the college because of the IIM tag, the alumni network, the location with a brand new well-designed campus, and the improving placements. The admission process started around March 2020 and lasted till June 2020 post which the lists were declared and the classes for our batch started by the end of June 2020.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course for better opportunities and good well-reputed professors. I liked the subjects and the way the subjects are planned. Our classes started online and the timings are usually 8:45 am to 1:45 pm.
Internships Opportunities
In our college, the responsibility for summer placements is that of the place com team. The PGP1 are eligible for the summer placements right after the CV verification is done. Apart from the summer placements the place com team and the different academic clubs get short time live projects from various companies and startups that give first-hand experience to the students in the various domains.
Placement Experience
The placement process is standard like any other MBA college. The number of companies that visit the campus is around 50+ and with many first-time recruiters. The median salary for the last two years is around 13 LPA. The PGP 1 becomes eligible for summer once the CV verification is done and the PGP2 becomes eligible as soon as the process starts.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the entire course over 2 years is 13.78 lakhs. Scholarships and financial assistance are offered to students from weak financial backgrounds. The college provides one scholarship and there are other scholarships offered by the state governments and respective banks based on certain criteria.
Campus Life
We have a defined number of academic clubs, SIGs, and committees that work, conduct events, competitions and arrange guest sessions in the designated areas of management. As of now, our classes are online so we do not have access to physical classrooms. We have academics fests, cultural fest, and sports fests organized usually during the months of January till March.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are beautifully made with all the basic amenities. The hostels have single occupancy rooms with tables, chairs, beds, wardrobes, and attached balconies. As the PGDM program at IIM Nagpur is a completely residential one, therefore, the hostels are mandatory and there are separate hostels for boys and girls.
